Shadow Hearts, SMT series, Tales series, Valkyrie Profile, Xenosaga series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms series, Ar Tonelico series, .Hack series, Grandia series, etc, etc, etc. There's too many to name, lol. I’ve just ordered the base model, but now I’m getting a bit sad as they’re supposed to be a big difference regarding base and pro for Switch. Is it really that much of a difference? and what switch games can I run with the base model?

The game that uses the most memory is going to be Zelda, apart from that I don’t know of any other big ones. I don’t think there is a big difference for Switch between Base and Pro. The memory is more useful for Windows games.

Thanks for watching and thanks for writing in. If you’re not interested in Switch games or Windows emulation, even the Base is good enough for PS2, 3DS and Gamecube.

Can the games settings be saved on a game by game basis (Open GL) (Vulkan) etc ?

Yes, it is possible to do this! It will remember your settings just for that particular game.

So for the driver games it’s not an issue of power it’s just the ps2 emulator itself?

Yes, I’m afraid so. I have not tried these on PCSX2 but I bet they run better over there on Windows where the emulator is getting updated.

Wpuld be awesome if people created a database for settings for games or patches were released on either a game by game basis or a batch patch that just fixes all the known issues with games so people can literally just play their games.. Also, is there a kids mode for the odin so that kids cant just get into the settings and mess things up?

An idea might be to just set 2x or 3x resolution with the OpenGL renderer and just using that. This is what was suggested to me as a “set it and forget it” option. A very small minority of the games will always have problems though, the PS2 emulator is not 100% perfect. I’m not sure about the kids mode, you may want to back up the configuration files.

It should but would recommend getting the 12GB RAM on the Pro model if going heavy with them

I would pick the RP4P in this case. Unless the bigger screen is a large factor in your decision.

Battlefront 2 run flawless on the odin lite, I'm noticing the same games not running on the lite are not running here like driver 3
