Thanks for another good video DTM. I personally like sashimi very much. There are not too many buffets that offer quality sashimi. One that comes to mind is Imperial in Chinatown. So the small amount of rice on the sushi at this place would be as close as it comes to ordering all you can eat sashimi. Tako Wasabi is also one of my favorite appetizers! I have eaten at Zensheng at The South Point several times. The food there was pretty good but I do agree that it can get expensive. The next time I stay at South Point I will give Top Sushi And Oyster a try. 🎉

Have to agree with your logic about Southpoint since they have so many food options that are loss leaders ( buffet and coffee shop especially ) that I won’t be looking for an AYCE sushi option

Danny - that fish-to-rice ratio is my dream! (Also, eating it with your hands is perfectly acceptable sushi etiquette.) And I don't understand what the oyster issue is - it seems like the only way to transport oysters from sea to restaurant is whole, closed oysters on ice. I've been to "nice" oyster restaurants that shuck them on an assembly line and they sit on the half-shell on ice until they're ordered. Finally, "real" takoyaki would burn your mouth when you try to eat it, no matter how long you wait - maybe that's why they cut it in half.

i commented on your other video about the nigiri. the problem we're having is alot of the ayce sushi place here are korean owned, you can tell by the menu as well as the nigiri. If you haven't tried the place yet try "On Demand Sushi". Is it the best? no. but their portions sizes of their nigiri is good and they get their fish from Hawaii.

Can you RECOMMEND... I do not recommend. My videos are for entertainment purposes only, and I say it like it is. If you see something you like you can go try it but the way I myself find restaurants is that I use Google Maps and look at restaurants in the area I am headed to... there are ratings available on Google Maps and I like to eat at places with high ratings (4 star and more) and a large amount of reviews. Best of Luck!

I despise sashimi, uncooked sushi , any living animal meant to be consumed that comes from a body of water that is alive! Yuck yuck yuck! Eating these raw products especially in Vegas gives a new meaning to the words… “Craps Table”. 🚽🏃🏻‍♀️Now sauté, bake, bbq, fry, even temper fish, crustaceans and seafood……..I’m there! Keep up the great work Danny! Would love to hear more food reviews from NYC and its surrounding area! Im a retired Chef and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy in Paris France. Almost an entire semester was spent on Food Safety and handling of products meant for human consumption. The mantra that was drummed into our heads was “When in doubt, throw out!” 🤧You are a brave soul Danny, eating those supposedly fresh shucked oysters from Korea., From a middle class establishment in Las Vegas.? I saw your hesitancy before you tried one! 🦪👀 💖🙋🏻‍♀️

that is so strange that you get such little rice! The lowest part of their food cost and yet they hold back on it. Some of those fish chunks are so large compared to the sushi rice that you might as well just get a bowl of poke with no rice hiding underneath or something else like that.
