I have an 03 Yukon with the same set-up and I also couldn't get the SWC module to program. Once I tap the volume as you stated, IT WORKED! Thank you!

Do you know what kind of colors went back in the harness of the truck

Which color wires was used? Red (hot wire) black (ground) and what color wire for steering control

Can you make a video how its is wired up in back of your radio swc interface wires plzim having trouble with mine

Will this work with the bose system on a 2001 yukon denali

I connected the Jag behind a radio the red and black wire and I got the blue and a pink wire left I still can't figure it out

I have a 2011 Silverado. In the instructions it says to connect the pink wire from the ASWC-1 to Pin #13 on the harness for the aftermarket stereo. According to all the documents I have printed and read online, Pin #13 is not used. So what do I do, just connect the power and negative along with the 3.5mm jack into the back of the new head unit? Thanks in advance.

Did you ever figure it out? I have a usb connector that I think a “pink” cable is in. Then the 3.5mm jack. My other harnesses are ready for my new head unit I just need this part to be able to use controls.

Does the original harness that hooked up your stereo with work with bows? Also do you know if it works with the rear entertainment DVD to?

My original harness was the bose harness then I had a shop install my deck with the axxess harness that was made for a truck with a bose system. Then I added the stereo control box that plugs straight into the axxess harness but I made a new video that I bypassed the bose speakers. Also idk anything about the stock DVD players in these trucks and the wiring 😕

It all depends if u have an axxess module already or not. If not then yes u will have to splice

Yes tapping was the answer for me

How many times or how long did it to program. While tapping the up button.

Like probably a good 30 seconds of tapping the up button then it just connected

This is just the axxess steering wheel controls box. It plugs into the axxess module interface that works with the bose system

Its like a signal plug just to specifically for stereo controls

Does it bring the chime sound back or that’s something else I got the same problem

The chime is something to do with the actual harness..this is just to restore stereo controls. When I got my deck installed the turned the chimes back on..

Sounds like the deck problem. I know I can turn that off on my deck in the settings.

No never got any codes for it at all just made that weird buzzing noise for like a week then stopped

Sure wish you could have shown hooking up the wires or what you did lol have the exact same rig and same pioneer as you guess just get out there and try but it sure would have helped

@@kevinharley9240 u literally just plug it into the axxess harness. There is a spot in the axxess stereo harness that has a spot to plug it in. Its like putting a power cord into the wall outlet. If u don't have the axxess harness in already u will need to splice into the stereo harness

Most trucks won’t have it hooked up already like that 🤦‍♂️

Well the pigtail harness plugs in yes. As long as u already have the bigger harness that makes your cd player work.
