that is how humbleness comes with power. Does not matter physical power, mental, knowledge whatever. If you know what you are capable of, no reason remains to show off to other people. Just look at how McGregor barked to Khabib. What Khabib did? He kept his silence and proved himself within octagon.

Love that the last guy who only did two reps was still encouraging the other competitor to do another rep. I love seeing people who want each other to grow.

Most people have no idea how truly amazing these feats of strength actually are. Also, the deadlift is truly the king of compound exercises for a reason.

Rauno was on a 747 airline flight home when the airplane got a flat on the runway. Not wanting to be late returning home, he offered to hold the plane up while crew repaired the flat. It was a difficult repair because they couldn't stop him from repping it.....

I think what he’s trying to say is that these guys trained to lift for competitions while body builders train to build a better physical self image which can have the side effect of inflating their ego.
These are strongest human beings walking this earth. It's truly amazing to see.

@@ifrickurmom1095 Tbh none are probably actually stronger in these specific events at the time but yea absolutely there are absolutely people who can and will be stronger than them, the genetic diversity of the world although not as diverse as it technically should be is still good enough to give us people who can barely lift light dumbbells when they start training to dudes who can bench 100's for reps first time, it's incredible

What I absolutely love about this competition is the incredible sportsmanship, where no one says that they are the best. Everyone is humble. People here are funny, and nice. That couldn't be said for any other sport I think.

You know when I saw the thumbnail I thought how cartoonishly large those weights looked and thought they would lift them once, but instead they did them for Reps. This is crazy and I love it. Much respect to all these athletes.
I have nothing but respect for these men and may we always remember them and be inspired by their disciplines!
Sometimes it's hard to believe some people are the same species as you. Not only insane talent, but insane effort, too. These guys are incredible.

Pa O'Dwyer looked way stronger in this comp than we've seen him in awhile I feel like. Awesome work from everyone. Hixxy getting a podium finish with that groin injury is awesome.

@@ytsux9259Yea he looks waaaay older for his age (which is 36). I guess it's the combination of bald head, grey beard, and smaller frame compared to the other guys in the competition (which is crazy since he's almost 190cm tall).

My pr in dead lift is 190kg around 422 lbs. Only 1 rep. I can't even imagine what these guys doing with 360 kg 800 pounds. This requires unimaginable raw power my friend.. Plus all of them are so humble inside their giant bodies.. Just incredible..

The WSM roster isnt the same for long. These men train and lift beyond what normal humans are capable of. Its expected that they'll eventually get exhausted and injured.

I felt the same way back in the late 90s/early 2000s as the Magnuses, Badenhorst, Karlsen and others retired and gave way to new competitors. The lifecycle of a competitive strongman is indeed short.
