The funny thing is that on this video i am getting an ad to have axis bank credit card 😂😂

RBI should intervene on such massive devaluation and should have strict guideline in the interest of consumer to at least refund the annual fee and joining fee in case of massive devaluation. Axis is chumix for a reason, they does not deserve the place even in the hell!

It is particularly bad for someone who has just got the card or someone who has recently renewed. In such cases annual fee should be refunded on pro rata basis.

Why wout RBI intervene just because you didn't get free food at Lounge 😂. Your contract with bank is to get credit line through a plastic card. Nothing more than that. Everything else is freebies.

well there is a valid reason for these massive down grades. Firstly whenever i used to visit lounges at major international airports , i saw majority of the visitors were Indian Travelers . Surely it meant it was easy for a Indian to get Priority Pass. In the last 1 year i have stayed in hotels for 30 nights in 4 and 5 star properties across Delhi, Jaipur , Egypt, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and paid only 25000 rupees, rest all were on points . i still have points which should give me around 30 nights. Basically if you travel frequently then your credit card purchases gives you 30 to 40% return in form of hotel stays . This was surely not sustainable . The so called Genius who had actually planned this Reward Points system was sheer stupid. Axis Bank has gained nothing from giving so much freebies. People will just stop spending on Axis Card, Surrender their cards . People with high value accounts will no longer maintain the funds which was required for Axis Magnus Burgundy as well

I guess the golden age credit cards in India is slowly getting over. My friends from US were amazed to see the amount of benefits Credit Cards were giving in India. Simple thing such as lounge access is only available in US on high end cards. Whereas in India almost all cards were giving that! Unfortunately all good things come to an end😢😢😢.

Well the credit cards in USA give various other facilities . Chase gives free insurance on purchasing any air ticket .Many purchases come under automatic insurance. Yes in India we were getting more benefits but India is different. Such high devaluation in reward will lead to people dumping their cards which had earlier given such high rewards. Some people may discontinue relationship with the bank as well. Axis Bank did their 3rd devaluation in the last 1 year which is actually stupid business decision. I know a lot of people who are downgrading their savings account or shifting them from Axis because they no longer are getting benefits.

I am a employee of Axis bank as a customer service and now getting so many calls for card cancelation.. Call flow is very high and even we also don't know about all changes.. Very painful for us..

@@CardAcademy we got a message in the evening from higher ahority that there are some changes in the cards be ready from tomorrow you all have to retain the customers.. Now tell me on what bases we can retain customers.. Customers are calling and abusing us for the changes and want to cancel the card and want their reversal of fees and if we are unable to retain.. And customers give us detractors..then management abuses That's all our life.. 😂

Axis bank "Genius" are really "Genius". 1. First Axis bank "Genius" introduced the magnus like "Genius" product. 2. Axis "Genius" gave magnus like "Genius" product to all "Genius" who applied for it. 3. All "Genius" influences made the videos about the "Genius" product launched by Axis "Genius" and promoted this "Genius" product right and left. 4. All "Genius" took magnus thinking the party will continue. As a result all non genius products along with "Genius" products had to undergo "Genius" devaluation.

I guess its time to close my axis bank cards portfolio! Card Academy Team, if you can provide a video in the coming days about a perfect card to replace Magnus - It would be much appreciated! Thanks team!😊

Irony is that I got Axis bank credit card advertisement on this video with marketing message "dil se open".

To those Axis Bank and ICICI credit card holder with lounge access traveling from Dibrugarh Airport........these two Banks has no tie up with Dibrugarh Airport Lounge till today. What a great great credit card! I ve Flipkart Axis Bank CC & ICICI MMT VISA platinum but no availed.😢

So we buy a credit card, pay annual fees and bank just devalue it. Customer will not close it because it will impact cibil score. RBI should look into this.

What is best card for utility bills for higher amount like 30-40k?

On top of my primary axis Magnus credit card, I have an add-on card issued. For airport lounge access, both the cards had unlimited lounge access. In the new rule, the Rs.50000 spend criteria will be applicable separately for both the primary and add-on cards on it will be in combination (that is Rs. 50k spend in last three months for both the primary and add-on card? )

I have AXIS SELECT CARD and it's totally trash now. Good think that it was LTF 🤣.

The worst bank is Axis Bank. All they do is sell Max Life Insurance and Max Investment Plans and do no other work.

I'm a regular viewer of this channel but with least comments. But today I feel that I should comment. Feedback for video - There's a lot of blank space on top of anchor which does not look professional and please use some background like you can put some plants here and there aur make shadow on the wall

Mostl banks have terrible reward system. Axis was among the best one in the market. Kotak is Pathetic, ICICI is Stupid and SBI and HDFC is okayish. So now one cannot expect extraordinary rewards from credit cards. We can say that Honeymoon period of Credit Cards are over.

What about Myzone card?

Why? It still gives 5% on Flipkart without cap.

I had purchased my Magnus card last September. If i discontinue the card exactly at the point of 1 year completion will it affect my CIBIL score negatively? I don't see the point in paying such a hefty fee for it now.

Just one clarification is required, regarding Axis Magnus. They will give Edge Reward points on Utility payments because the doc Axis shared, nothing is mentioned regarding utility payment edge reward point. Plz clarify
