I love my baby capra. The overdrive gears are a cheap upgrade. And the stock springs fit traxxas trx4 shocks. It keeps up with my 10 scale rigs just fine, and is much more portable. I use it as my on the go rc.

Awesome to hear! My dad got a UTB18 and I couldn’t resist the senduro se so I think it’ll be a good pair of cars to play around with.

It would be better with springs. I don't know why people remove them. It's a hack job way of modifying. I wonder what else they did to it.

This one is solid, but I think it depends, going with a 10th scale truck will allow you to progress further without buying a whole new rig. But if you aren’t sure how much you will like it, and you’re just testing it out. Than this “mini Capra” could be a good fit. For $300 I would say get the Redcat ascent. That will get you into the hobby with a pretty capable truck, then you can updated that truck almost endlessly as you get more and more into the hobby. (I’ve got a fulll playlist on the ascent as well as links to buy it, if you want to see more info on it)
