Great review Logan! I went out and bought one of these (Fox edition) , because of your excellent review showing how capable it was. You were impressed, so I knew it would be great. I’ve been watching some of your REAL crawler videos (which are excellent as well) and have learned to utilize different techniques like the big boys, and it has really helped my proficiency with my RC crawlers. Keep up the good work!

Of all the channels I follow I can't think of anyone who's better to review a rig like this than you, proper driving and not just beauty shots and good evaluation of the cars performance and features :)

I like it. You guys on the west coast have an advantage for this smaller clawer us guys on the east coast don’t have rocks like that unless you get to some mountain faces the way we have to pile rocks those tires would get stuck in every hole

Well crap, I was trying to limit myself to only 40 rc cars but I think I’m closer to 45 now. Maybe I should move my limit up to 50 rc cars. Then I can get two of these and still be under my limit.

People keep calling this a toy and, admittedly, it takes some styling cues from the overseas brands. Pretty funny when you look at the micro rigs, though. They might look the part but bounce and flex their way over what passes for 'terrain' in the micro world (to be honest the micros are great for indoors fun but minis are competent crawlers, inside or out, and are a lot more flexible). As far as performance goes, and with eventual support from the aftermarket, there are lots of reasons to like the mini-Capra (I own the tenth scale version). What it comes down to, though, is economics. I'll pocket the $100 and buy the TRX4m. I LOVE this scale and excited to see if 1/18 grows but show some originality, Axial, please (and get that price down)! How ironic, that we're complimenting Traxxas, of all brands, for being a better value!!!

Nice to see someone who crawls give their opinion on it. I have two SCX24s because I don't have the space to crawl usually (though I do have a 1/10 Element) but if I had your space I'd definitely take advantage. I don't know if I will get this, if I did I'd want to lower it's CG and try to make a Bomber out of it somehow.

I'm so glad to see this! I've been dying to see some more coverage on this car. I'm wondering what the release date is. I'm also looking forward to hearing what you REALLY think about certain aspects of it that you can't say right now... like, are the tires actually any good, does it perform as well stock-for-stock to the 1/10 Capra, etc? It looks SUPER jacked up and top-heavy. I'm kinda eager to pin-spring-mod it, lose the lower caps and other 1/10 tricks to get it down more. And I'd LOVE to see Hobbywing do a Fusion Pro using the 380-size motor. I'm eager to rear-steer one too. Such a great, portable little car.

I have a few 24’s and want something bigger- get this or just get the 1/10 Capra 4WS? Will do some basic upgrades on both… if I get this it looks like a little length, lower, some brass and cool wheels and tires will be good

Since you’re kinda the Capra guru at this point I wanted to ask. If you build a new 1/10 Capra, do you put in overdrive or brass on it? Sorry for being off topic, but I was waiting for a new video drop to ask.

Sid cracking me up had to come by & approve of the new RC. It’ll be interesting to see how it will do against the new Traxxas M. From what I’ve see this mini Capra is more capable then any other mini Crawler out. It’s a bit expensive & that makes the Traxxas more attractive but the M is 150$ & the Capra 250$ I think so that’s 400$ total so if I got both It would still be less then a most good 1:10 scale Crawlers. I have the new 4wheel steer Capra & it’s incredible one of my favorite Crawlers. I appreciate the review pushes me a little closer to getting one.

It's certainly cool and all, and being an Axial fanboy I'll likely buy one, but 1/18 scale is a stretch. The wheels alone would be 27" IRL. Not sure I've seen many buggies running around with Donk rims for crawling. 1/12 or 1/14 scale might be more believable based on the 1.55" wheel size. Still, a great video. Thanks for the information.

I have scx24 based rig, that puts most 10ths to shame. Plus I can fit 4 of them with controlers in 1 backpack. But on the other side of things, it does depend strictly on the terrain you have to crawl on. 10th scale is by far the most popular scale, there for there is way more parts verity, and customization available.
