I love those WT micro wheels! They may be my new favorite. I have all 3 sets for the scx24 they make. The Hyrax wrapped on the super wides is legit!

@@ProNoobRC may want to pick up some CI Lil Nova micro foams. You can literally use one uncut per tire on the wide style rims. Most tires I’ve tried on the wide foams seem to hold without using glue, which I don’t want to use.
Awesome video guys looking good so far. 👍🔥💯 Only thing is no channel 2 for furitek esc but it crawls way better now anyways.

I really starting to like these smaller scale. I have a pro line ambush 1/24 on leaf springs. Hand made aluminium shackles, 1 inch steel stamp wheels r c 4 w d and boggers. I had to loosen all the drive train peices and now it performs awesome!

The ambush is one of my favourite rigs!! We cut down the mounting blocks on the axles to lower it a pinch and wow! Way better!
The course is sick! How did yall do it and what texture did yall use for the top? Got a gladiator comming.

The tip of the gladiator is painted matte black Tamiya TS6 paint. And cheers! We used quick Crete concrete patch for the course and dyed it with concrete dye

Gotta get the PowerHobby motor! It makes my Glady rip! Much more torque and wheel speed than stock with just as much control. Connects to stock esc. 👌🤟 Good video.

How did they make the gladiator longer wheel base? Are they deadbolt rear links and mid length front links from the other models?

That’s just the black paint we sprayed on roof and yes you can buy files at MyMiniFactory or prints from Shapeways from @knightcustoms

This model is ok.. topples over super easy.. plus the long wheelbase dont do very good... honest opinion..im not getting paid to promote it..

Toss the stock springs for softer ones to lower the centre of gravity down as the body is too heavy. I think the new wheelbase platform is a cool change up from the norm on these. Jesse and I just built a blue one and cut the fenders off and running the Bogger 2.4” tires on it with really wide rims and it’s been a blast lol. But yeah in performance it’s a step back besides the better esc unit. We should see those in the other rigs soon too and Jesse and I pay for everything outa pocket we just support our local shop as they’re also our friends outside of business hours.
You must wear gloves during your day job, some pale hands and tan arms lol
