Jesus Christ dude lol. I was just looking at this same truck at my local hobby shop the other week. I almost pulled the trigger but my real truck "needed" fox racing coilovers, shocks and tires lol. I can't wait to see future videos on what you think of it. Good job man.

I do the very same. And my very first crawler build starts soon. I went with the gen8 axe edition.

there is also a swaybar on the parts tree and the shackles to mount it.

I think getting the RTR then low-CG Transmission as the first and most important upgrade. Alloy shocks and links are more for aesthetics since the stock plastic shock is plenty good and S/S link is already an improvement compared to the old plastic links from the original sxc10.

are the RTR version comes with metal spurs and pinyon gears?

The Cherokee rtr has the u-joint style steel shafts as well.

How big of a battery can i put in it?

the green rubber things are gate markers, for making a course..... you can get them in green and orange.....

also it's a little sad they don't give you R35 compound tires with this, since that's what they put on the scx10 rtrs.

Do you have to drill holes to mount the door handles ect and if so are there dimples to mark the hole positions?

I have the kit, put in a Tactic radio, 35t axial can motor, and axial esc.... haven't done the body yet. I'm using a 73 Bronco from proline. I think I'm going to get the RTR for my daughter in March, she has asked for a truck for her birthday..... then we can paint a second body for her in a different color and give her the roof rack.

Isaiah Furrow why not the hobby wing ESC ?? The axial is a jacked up over priced copy same for the motor man

I think the scx10 II transmission is actually higher COG than the old transmission, as the motor sits higher in the new one. What the new one improves is lowering and centering the axle input housings for better driveshaft angles. Seems like dudes making competition setups choose the old transmission for this truck.

RC Colin - Yes you will need a battery. With a Deans Connector. 2s or 3s. Many choice for batteries out there. I use Smc batteries.

I believe it is only during certain times. I was able to use it on another Axial with tower. Good question for them.

I meant to say I called Tower in November and Tower told me that their coupons doesn't apply to Axial products due to the manufacturer not allowing them to.

Chappel Chastain Well I got my truck about 2 weeks ago. All I can say is I have never seen this thing die. It runs for like 2 hours and charges for half and hour

you over looked the the fact that the kit has r35 compound tires and the rtr has s30 compound tires

I have buy the kit version and in all it cost me 485$ Motor 45turn 10$ Esc hobbywing 15$ servo with titanium gear 15$ and flysky controller witch i can setup 10 cars on it 30$ im from canada so the price is 645$ but in us is 485$
