Awesome upgrades ToJo, love the battery tray, and pan-hard bar set-up. I'm also taking notes. Getting an SCX-10 is definitely on my list. Just hate to buy the kit, then upgrade everything, but that's part of the hobby, lol. MIDWID!

Well price vise the Deadbolt is the best bang for your buck! Get it from towerhobbies.com with there discount codes its a price you cant beat! Love the RC, and so many parts and stuff you can do to it! You will not regret getting one.

Dan P I tried that kit, didn't get it to work! Unless I started putting custom length link and do other work on my Dingo! Might be me, but followed the instruction! And still got bump steer! My pan hard kit (servo on chassis) is from Vanquish Products! I love mine, servo is more protected, gives the axel more travel. And looks more scale!

Awesome deadbolt bro I have one too. Are those the 100 mm king shocks and if do do you think they are better than the stock shocks or the 90 mm axial aluminum shocks? I'm trying to get ideas for better suspension and I like the way you have yours set up.

Beautiful truck! What length of King shocks are you using? Shock oil, springs and preload? Any other comments you can make on the Kings is appreciated.

Phil Miller Thank you! 100mm length and 30w shock oil. I just filled them with oil and did not change out the springs that came with them. They work good for me, have nothing more to say. I buy them again in heart beat.

how do you keep from tearing up your drivetrain with the back tires turning a different speed than the front ones?

It don't make a huge difference! Font turn a lite faster! And I have MIP steel axels, and harden steel gear in the transmission!

I'm about to get one of these in a trade, but i don't like the body very much. Is there any body options besides stock? Anyone made a "scaler" out of the chassis only? I'm not familiar with SCX10's the variety of changes between models. Thanks in advance!

S30Uploads There tons of body's that can be used! Mostly the different between the models are the wheel base! And the body! Other than that, there same thing for the most. SCX10 is a great RC tons of stuff to work on or change out, depending on what you like! I don't have a list over what will fit. I was looking for a body my self, one I wanted did not fit lol But I gamble on it so my fault. Get body from its wheel base. Dead bolt have 12" wheel base so look for body's having that wheel base. Hope this help?

okay so then its just like my axial ax10. I have a body for it already it is a Chevy truck that looks like the Dale Earnhardt senior, but is actually a West Coast Choppers version with no interior. I'm sure you have seen the Dale Earnhardt Chevy truck on an axial the there is here on KZread. I'll just take a picture and post it on Google and link you, see if you like it.

your runing the AE-5 ESC right whats the deal on 3s with the stock motor any issues at all for just plugging in the 3s and is it ok for the motor or to much for it >??

Yes I have the stock ESC! AE-5, it can run 3s! I never have done so only have 2s and 4s battery's!
