Axial flux magnetic gear and magnetically geared PM machine
The video is reviewing the current development of axial flux magnetic gear (AFMG) and the axial flux magnetically gear permanent magnets machine (AFMGPM) topologies.
This work is the subject of a paper that will be presented in the INTERNATIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY CONGRESS (IREC2020)

Very useful presentation, very well presented - many thanks.
Very intresting information it not easily understand to every one unless some background knowledge about magnetic principles. Great information.
Thank you for explaining!
A very fascinating survey of topologies. Some of them look somewhat over complicated, and I'm not certain I understand which parts were for input and which for output in some of the combination machines. Also I would be curious what the falloff in flux density was at higher gear ratios.
I am using an Planetary Skateboard called Ecomobl ET.Gears driven skateboard. Now I have seen an hub skateboard and trying to apply that power to the wheels. It's hard to glue wheels to a hub and use it that way. With Axial Flux and using car wheels to attach to it seems a great idea since it's small, lightweight, more power? and you can use regular tire wheels rather a big motor running. The axial flux mag is the Hub and you just need wheels on it.
thx
this, with magnetic bearings, in a hubless, rim-drive propeller/turbine system, with serrated propeller blades, would be a very quiet flight system.
How big are these machines presented?
Where can I get the stl files?
can we by one ?

Ehe.... Ehe..... Ehe...... The good thing is that MAN who says ehe ehe as they talk are thinking and intelligent....
Best part is NO PART, direct drive.
Looks like nothing has changed in the last ten years.

right, seems more art than science. given the em simulations available, shouldn’t the design be in the optimization phase?
