2005 marked the birth of the Axial brand, and shortly after, thoughts about the first SCX10™ began, with development wrapping up in 2008. The SCX10™ was introduced to the world as a builders kit, paving the way, or better yet, raising the bar for a new generation of scale trail enthusiasts. Previously, hobbyists had to “scratch build” a rig which presented a lot of technical hurdles to overcome. The SCX10™ kit gave these “artists” time to focus their attention on other things like personalization and visual customization by removing the issues scratch-built scale rigs presented. And, it wasn’t just as a great kit to build, it was also a very capable driving machine, making it the de facto scale rig the world over. The SCX10™ chassis platform provided all the technical attributes as well as scale looks with its signature all-metal twin c-channel frame, solid performing transmission and axles that provided enough realism with capabilities to match.
With the SCX10™ II, we’ve kept essence of the SCX10 there with all-metal twin c-channel frame rails, but that’s only 2% of the 98% of a completely new design. Scale AR44™ high pinion axles, a chassis mounted servo (CMS), re-designed transmission, front mounted battery tray, all aluminum suspension links, and a properly designed suspension for nearly zero bump steer. These are just a few of the features built into the all new SCX10™ II.

This comment makes me miss vaterra 😪 the Cherokee is still a badass rig but damn it would've been nice to have a little more quality selection when looking for a scale straight axle rc crawler in my price range a few weeks ago

Looking awesome! If I'm being picky, the only thing I don't like is the red diff covers & red link mounts, black would've been a safer bet but see they are available in the options list.

they're red because it was made thanks to a petition created by jcr off-road
I've had 2 scx10s my first was the hancho kit and the one I have now is the discontinued unlimited Rubicon and I absolutely love it! I was looking into possibly getting a trailfinder 2 but I believe I'm gonna hold out for this! what's the retail kit price? I'm figuring maybe $400 ish to start then after the new wears off it'll drop quiet a bit. either way I'll be getting one eventually
Traxxas is great, but I can definitely appreciate an actual scale rc. Thing is sick.
I already know that at least 12 of our Network Partners are ready to buy and make videos about this truck. So expect honest reviews up as soon as this truck arrives from the Radio Control Network.

by when it's to be launched in Europe then? Guess the axles and the gearbox are the major milestones increasing the performance. Would be worthwhile having one in my collection :-) Surely the rig will be quite good and much options for the aftermarket are given by that.

PL offers a two door JK that fits the Dingo (11.4 wb) I have one.

I want to get into rc crawlers but man im really confused about which one to buy. I dont want to spend much more than $400.
I think this truck would do great for the 1.55 class. just drop it to stock hight, 90 mm shocks and 1.55 mickey Thompson tires.

Should be an easy swap. All you would need is the on frame servo mount and the pan hard bar mounts

Hey man, unless ur a woman... Any possibility of you making a factory S.O.A. mount???? The C.M.S. is great if you are running Scale Trail lines and some light rock crawling. I'm just thinking about the performance first side of things. Having the servo on axle up front and down low, would be epic!!! Because then I could remove the stock battery tray, and get the battery in a little better position. So the Deuce can be just shy of unstoppable... While looking 99% Scale Trail. I'm just thinking out loud here, and possibly some dreaming going on as well... . . .
i love these and want one so bad, but for $350 i can get a bumper for my actual jeep Cherokee. does anybody know of something like this but less expensive?

Hsp kulak just bought one for 100bucks its good reliable has more clearance then this jeep and can so everything it can do and probably more ..

Looks Cool. Too bad most of it is a copy of the Vaterra Ascender.
for the kit, it doesn't look like it comes with good old fashioned bead locks....that kinda sucks but all else is good
