Interesting insight. I can see why there are many who consider charismatic leadership potentially quite dangerous.

If making others feeling good would all the charismatic leaders should have, then clowns should be those. True leaders allow their true Self to emerge, to be authentic, true, and allow others around them to be as it is. Others feel good not because the leader makes them laugh but because they subconsciously feel that they are accepted, even encouraged by themselves to be authentic self.

And six months after that speech, Americans chose Trump - a lot of charisma and nothing more ... Jochen Menges - simply brilliant in this sort of "prediction".

The people chose him not because of his charisma but because he is promising a change from the globalist, multicultural paradise. You focus purely on the charisma of Barack Obama while overlooking how horrible his decision made the world. Anyone who supports Obama supports the thousands of children killed by drone strikes and the overthrowing of stable nations.

Was quiet interesting. I'm guilty of mindlessly following someone because I was awestruck. But now I'll take a moment, step back, and actually try to understand if this leaders's mission makes sense, or am I awestruck, and will he just drag me to the edge of the hill

how pathetic are you to call this ordinary guy with just a nice speech and maybe with some decent research background.....a legend. You must not know what a legend is or you don't have any legends around you so you are so thirsty to find legends to look up to
