Very informative, thank you. B & H Photo just had a Daily deal, buy a $32 dollar 12 inch ring light and receive a Beamo mini free. And the ring light are very nice, 5 brightness levels and 3 different temperature settings.
I’m soon travelling and got the bemo, but yeah it is just too harsh! I also want to use it as my main or maybe the only light during the travel. Now since that didn’t work, do you recommend the Elgato Key Light Mini instead? I’m looking for soft portable and wireless set up, or at least one good lighting source.

I have the Elgato key light as my main light for all my videos and I love it. If the Mini is as good at It’s bigger brother then it could work.
I have a question which is better accourding to you ... mini one or regular beamo?

I would go for the regular one, better battery life, brighter and wireless charging is handy. The magnets on the mini should be useful but aren’t strong enough.
Is the recharge rate that bad when using it while plugged in? Maybe it's usable with a higher capacity charger?

It is. I was disappointed to be honest. At the time I was hoping for a super minimal setup, but the lights couldn’t out last my long rambling A Roll takes. I did try with a beefier charger but it didn’t help. I still use them all the time just not as my main lights.

How to you charge their piece of shits is the question. If you have ti search youtube it's probably an issue.
