Uh yeah I've tried to get my cats to help me out for years now. But maybe trying to get them to go to the store for me is just too ambitious. I'd try the light thing but I tend to sleep with the lights on. I'm going to say that's because I fall asleep reading & not that I'm afraid of what's in the dark. Although I tend to use my tablet for reading.
