It's nice to get a less known place in the footlight. Belgium is SO worth visiting! There are many very different places with each a lot of culture, some nature and a lot of history. And good food and drinks are never left out! Belgians are raised with the best of ingredients and take pride in making the most delicious dishes!

I completely agree! We already want to go back and explore more.

Often overlooked areas like Wallonië and the north of France are so much worth visiting. It's beautiful and so much to do, such a great kitchen!

I drove past this place on my visit to Hannut! The Walloon region seems to have a lot of these places!

Chimay is a great beer. Loved drinking it as a(n entitled) student in the Netherlands. Living in Brussels now and want to see more of Wallonia. This was a great video, thanks for sharing. I was in Charleroi today and I liked it (everyone says it's the worst town in Belgium, but don't trust what people say haha).

thanks for sharing - Love Belgium as it was my 1st European city I visited and have been to the most - best friend from college was Belgian :-) Love/hate to travel with him at least back when college aged as I visited like a local and had to pull teeth to do the "tourist stuff" so I know all the city names but still hunger for more wandering. CHEERS! Now I'm hungry for some Cote D' Or Noir du Noir (HA, started to comment about the sound level on Charleroi vid and see it was pulled back - hope to see that one soon too.

I'm not much of a beer drinker either, so I also would not be able to describe a beer except by if it tastes good or not. Of course, the taste is the most important part! The area looks very beautiful! I would love to see those views from the top of the observation wheel!

In Brussels I would recommend visiting the Victor Horta House museum, amazing art nouveau home, the Comic Strip Museum and the Musee Royale for Flemish Art. There's some really famous paintings in there. The White Hart on the Grand Place is good for food and atmosphere.

@@aWanderlustForLife only been to Brussels, which is great. For food I would recommend; Moules-Frites (cliché but good), Carbonade Flamande (similar to Beef Bourguigoin but with beer instead of wine), Waterzooi (a chicken or fish stew, my wife adores it), and Boilets Liegeois (two large meatballs with frites)
