Thanks Ben. It helps so much. :) Needs to be an integral part of the Model Builder screen.
Note that the Improvisation Skill is only used upon making a NEW version of a Model. The first version does not use Improvisation Skill yet. Note that rolling high on these Director's skills does not ensure better model stats, it just allows extra rolls for those stats (which could still be bad rolls). Keeping it a bit fuzzy.

Nice. This is the Buggy info I've been saying for ages. :) Light Engine + 25mm is great Also great breakdown of which skills affect which stats now.
I see GoG have the game on deep discount at the moment!

Just a heads up, that the beta patches don't come to GOG, or they come very slowly, and so you'll have to be content with playing the latest stable releases, and miss the bleeding edge features.

Was wondering why I was getting so many high structural design models in the late stage of my campaign. Had thought it was just luck!
Amazing, so much needed imporovement. Does it also apply to aircrafts in any way?
FINALLY! About time. Next: we need to actually change how the models and graphics look for units and so on. There's already a great mod that changes the cards to something that isn't horrid. It just needs to be updated into the main game. The drawings are bad.
My gosh can you do this with aircraft?! I never use aircraft because the design process is total garbage but if you can click around the see performance that will be amazing!

Yes, same thing for aircraft. Massively useful.
Given up on Shadow Empire. Damn logistics system in play requires a fricking PhD to understand and a lot of time to comb through spreadsheets in the game to track. Tired of having my units out of supply in their own capital with no idea why.
So much nore updates have been added. Jump in i justvstarted another campaign and its great.

It is a great game.
Is this from the latest patch, or is it in beta? I havent played since the steam launch, but i'm getting very eager to jump back in.

This was from yesterday's Twitch livestream using the latest open beta.
Game essentially only works against another Human. The AI cheats to such a gigantic extent that it reduces any tactical decision-making on the part of the player to merely role-playing; the complexity on display is only player deep.

The AI differences really are minimal in the game. It has some advantages in road building to allow it to be more aggressive but it doesn't have the advantages the player has with the various Councils. The AI uses the same restrictions as the player with supply and combat (unless you select hard or above where the AI gets a small percentage modifier in combat). The main difference between this game and others is that the dev explained exactly what the AI is doing - most devs hide this.

That's what I enjoy about 4X games, personally. I don't enjoy when the AI is overpowering and takes forever to defeat. I just like to build my tech and cities and eventually steamroll the AI

This is only true for minors. Major AIs use basically the same rules as the player.
