First off thank you so much for all your lessons! Is there any advantage/disadvantage. To playing this in 3rd position with a Bb? Cheers

Hi Thomas, that's a great question. The lick is actually easier on a Bb in 3rd, in that it involves no bends. But then, maybe you like the bluesy sound of the bends...? The bigger question is just about 2nd vs. 3rd position in a more general sense, which you prefer to play or are able to play. Bottom line is it's up to you so do whatever feels right! Cheers. Liam
