Eckhart Tolle is a spiritual teacher and author, born in Germany and educated at the Universities of London and Cambridge. At the age of 29 a profound inner transformation radically changed the course of his life. He devoted the next several years to understanding, integrating, and deepening that transformation. With his international bestsellers, The Power of Now and A New Earth-translated into over 52 languages-he has introduced millions to the joy and freedom of living life in the present moment. The New York Times has described him as “the most popular spiritual author in the United States”, and Watkins Review has named him “the most spiritually influential person in the world.”
Eckhart’s profound, yet simple teachings have helped countless people around the globe experience a state of vibrantly alive inner peace in their daily lives. His teachings focus on awakening consciousness, which transcends ego and discursive thinking, and can be seen as the next step in human evolution. In the awakened state of presence, we discover what Eckhart describes as our essential identity-who we are beneath the surface-and its power for transforming our selves and our world.

    Tolle saved my sanity a couple weeks ago. Stress got very high. I wasn’t sleeping. I had to let go or die. So I took the power of now to the park and watched the families walk by and listened to the birds. His message hit me so hard that I barely even opened the book. Everything was too beautiful

I dreamt my cat ( she passed away a long time ago) I was wanting for an answer to a job interview.( I had lost my previous job I was really concerned about my life) Then my sweet cat appeared to me in a dream. She was sitting on pile of documents, paper ect. and she was staring at me. The DAY AFTER I got the job!-They called me and I got the job!( The job is related to documents and paper) So do not be sad.... If my cat is near to me your dog is near to you! P.s. Sorry about my English. It is not my first language. I can read it and listen to it very well but I have difficult to write it. Sorry!

I miss him so much but also remember my time with him as the best in my life and he helped me so much through a difficult time. Then my ex took him. I remember him looking at me and starting to come with me and I had to say “ you stay with Daddy”. I never saw him again but I hope to some day. In the present I am in the process of ending and there is a dog involved. I won’t let him go this time.

    I try to listen to The Power of Now at least once a week ; even if just for a few minutes. Many times when egoic thoughts develop, I have been more successful in observing them instead of fighting them. It takes time and persistence to trigger the power of now when negativism invades my thoughts. Each week that passes by, I am more able to overcome more and more those negative thoughts. His teachings are really effective. Just have patience and persist. Be Here Now, you are not your thoughts!! Thank You Eckhart Tolle.

We have a friendly Gecko that comes by the house each summer and it always shows up at 8 pm sharp to climb on my wrought iron front door to play on the glass. My girl Doberman was at total peace last night and just in awe of his missing summer friend. It was hilarious experience that brought me so much joy!

  • @SIMS6
    @SIMS64 жыл бұрын

    About a year ago, my journey to the englighment kicked off, so to speak, because I had already been present before, sometimes, without knowing it, and I do think that happens/ed to all of us, because the stilness never leaves us, sometimes it is just a little bit too hidden. And empirically, through my/our universe, I've learned that I cannot win the "fight" against with the so-called thinking mind, (that had originally a good purpose on its origin, and if it's used consciously, can be really really helpful) with the thinking, thoughts, reasoning, the moment I do that, I get even more identified with that entity from which I'm trying to separate myself off. So, the underlying thoughts, so to speak that I'm trying to stick with are: letting everything be as is, even if I have to face some bad emotions/thoughts that are within me(they are just sensations) for a short period of time, I just ask myself "what is happening within you that is making you feel bad?" and then some thoughts/emotions show up, I try to be there as much as I possibly can and to let them really come out(being honest with myself) and then those thoughts/emotions that were making me feel anxious, sad, tired stop having that kind of effect on me and then I think consciously(I guess) about the thoughts/situations that were making me feel like that, and if no bad sensation arises within me, I know that I regained my true state, my/our stilness. And one other "underlying thought", probably a message that was sent, from awareness itself, that I'm really trying to keep up with is to observe, to be in constant state of observation, observing the thoughts coming in and going out. I wish for you people that are/have been seeking for you/our true self, the original state, much love and peace! Sending good energies ❤️❤️❤️

    If you're open to the information, it will find you. If you're stubbornly attached to the ego-identity, you will miss the information leading you to your true self even though it is right in front of your face begging to be acknowledged.

    Fail to understand why the listeners are laughing for that absolutely gems out of the master. He is right there , what better luck one might have. They are laughing as if they are already enlightened. If the master thinks from egoic mind, he would feel sad for those laughs. They are not jokes, but just precious gems pouring out of grace from the master, who might simply sit in total bliss without doing anything.

    I have tinnitus which is always making noise in my head, but for weeks at a time I'm not even aware of it. The brain has a lovely mechanism that eliminates awareness of repetitive disturbances. It may be because the brain only interrupts you to alert to dangers, and when it knows the thing isn't a danger, it disregards it.

I can do it any time now and i became enlightened on May 7th (717) and im only 16. Just put in alot of hard work internally and focus on trying to silence your ego.😊

    I forgive myself. For not getting stillness right away. I get it when I remember and that happens more and more frequently. It is a practice. High energy is me and that’s good and okay and still we high energy types can still do this so keep going and I hope all can get out in nature somehow, or feel the energy between your hands and breathe.

    ❤️🌹❤️ None résistance accepting what comes brought me to the 3 miracles that happened when my beloved mother Rose passed away in 2010. !! What I did is that I didn’t t give reality to what was happening because I knew, from a Divine Grâce that I had at the age of 14 that God really existed and that there was another reality in this world . One of the miracles was that she appeared to me a month later in front of my bed when I woke up !!!💚💚🙏 I love Eckhart Tolle Blessings from France🙏🇫🇷💚💚💚💚🍀🙏
