Awakening Humanity The Quest | Neale Donald Walsch

Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God, received a new message from God after 19 years of silence. He’s partnering with Mindvalley to bring his manual on awakening humanity to the world. Excited? Learn more with his Masterclass: go.mindvalley.com/Awaken-The-...
“Dear God, what does it take to make life work?”
Neale angrily wrote to God many years ago when he was goes through a great crisis in his life. Immediately after “venting” his first lines, Neale heard a voice respond to him. He felt a divine presence, a sense of being embraced. He began to weep with joy at the peace he felt, and his life would never be the same.
Answers to life’s greatest questions began being answered through this divine presence. Then, even more questions he didn’t even think to ask were being answered. Every morning he was awakened by 4:23 am to have conversations with God. Eventually, he had a whole book of “Questions and Answers” with God.
This is when “Conversations With God” became a world-renowned bestselling book.
After 19 years of silence, the voice began communicating with Neale again. Now, he is on his fourth book, and he wants to share this wisdom with the Mindvalley Community via his “Awakening Humanity” Quest.
Find it here: to discover 5 ways we can tell whether we are fully awakened to who we are and why we are here on Earth, and much, much more.

Mindvalley I have, but... 🐟 07. GOD (OR NOT): There has never been, nor will there ever be, even the SLIGHTEST shred of evidence for the existence of the Godhead, that is, a Supreme Person or Deity.‬ The English word “person” literally means “for sound”, originating from the Latin/Greek “persona/prósōpa”, referring to the masks worn by actors in ancient European theatrical plays, which featured a mouth hole to enable the actors to speak through. Theists, by definition, believe that there is a Supreme Deity which incorporates anthropomorphic characteristics such as corporeal form (even if that form is a “spiritual” body, whatever that may connote), with a face (hence the term “person”), and certain personality traits such as unique preferences and aversions. Simple logic dictates that the Ultimate Reality transcends all concepts, including personality and even impersonality. However, only an excruciatingly minute number of humans have ever grasped this complete realization and understanding. There are at least FOUR reasons why many persons are convinced of the existence of a Supreme Personal God: 1. Because it is natural for any sensible person to believe that humans may not be the pinnacle of existence, and that there must be a higher/ultimate power in existence (an intelligent designer). However, because they cannot conceive of this designer being non-personal, they automatically suspect it must be a man (God) or a woman (The Goddess) with personal attributes. One who is truly awakened and/or enlightened understands that the Universal Self is the creator of all experiences and that he IS that (“tat tvam asi”, in Sanskrit). 2. Because they have experienced some kind of mystical phenomenon or miracle, which they mistakenly attribute to “God's grace”, but which can be more logically explicated by another means. As explained, all such phenomena are produced by the TRUE Self of all selves (“Paramātman”, in Sanskrit). I, the author of this Holy Scripture, have personally experienced very powerful, miraculous, mystical phenomena, which I formerly ascribed to the personal conception of God (since I was a Theist), but now know to be caused, ultimately, by the Real Self. 3. Because they may have witnessed the deeds or read the words of an individual who seems to be a perfect person - in other words an incarnation of the Divine Principle (“Avatāra”, in Sanskrit). To be sure, such persons do exist, but that does not necessarily prove that the Supreme Truth is PERSONAL. An Avatar is a man who was born fully enlightened, with all noble qualities, but not necessarily perfect in every possible way. For example, very few (if any) of the recognized Avatars in human history taught or practiced veganism. 4. Because they have been CONDITIONED by their family, society and/or religious organization over many years or decades. Unfortunately, we humans are very gullible. Due to low intelligence and lack of critical analysis, the typical person believes almost anything they read or hear from virtually any source. During a visit to one's local place of worship on any given weekend, one will notice a congregation of sheepish individuals nodding in agreement with practically every nonsensical, inane word spouted by their deluded so-called “priest”, imam, mullah, rabbi, guru, monk, or preacher. Even the current World Teacher, despite his genius intellect, was once a thoroughly-indoctrinated religious fundamentalist, before he awoke to a definitive understanding of life. Having stated the above, the worship of the Personal Deity (“bhakti yoga”, in Sanskrit), is a legitimate spiritual path for the masses. However, the most ACCURATE understanding is monistic or non-dual (“advaita”, in Sanskrit). If one wishes to be even more pedantic, the ultimate understanding is beyond even the concept of nonduality, as the great South Indian sage, Śri Ramana Maharishi, once so rightly proclaimed. As an aside, it seems that practically every religious organization, particularly those originating in Bhārata (India), claims to have been founded by an Avatar, but that’s simply wishful thinking on the part of their congregations. Only a great sage or world teacher can POSSIBLY recognize an enlightened being, what to speak of an Incarnation of the Divine. The typical spiritual aspirant, even one who may seem to be a highly-exalted practitioner, has very little idea of what constitutes actual holiness. Frankly speaking, many famous (infamous?) religious leaders were some of the most vile and contemptible characters in human history, particularly in this Epoch of Darkness (“Kali Yuga”, in Sanskrit). “God is greater than God.” ************* “Where there is Isness, there God is. Creation is the giving of isness from God. That is why God becomes where any creature expresses God.” ************* “Theologians may quarrel, but the mystics of the world speak the same language.” ************* “There is something in the soul that is so akin to God that it is one with Him... It has nothing in common with anything created.” ************* “The knower and the known are one. Simple people imagine that they should see God as if he stood there and they here. This is not so. God and I, we are one in knowledge.” ************* “The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.” Eckhart von Hochheim O.P. (AKA Meister Eckhart) , German Roman Catholic Priest. “God is merely one of man's concepts, a symbol used for pointing the way, to the Ultimate Reality, which has been mistaken for the Reality itself. The map has been mistaken for the actual territory.” ************* “Worshipers may derive some sort of satisfaction or peace of mind, through worship of a concept such as God (created by themselves), but it is a futile process, from the viewpoint of experiencing one's true nature.” Ramesh Balsekar, Indian Spiritual Teacher.

I had this same message back in 2017 and people just think I’m crazy. I’m just now realizing what it means to get a message “to tell others of the worldwide awakening “. I haven’t quite come to terms with being a messenger of God. It’s scary yet so amazingly honorable. I just don’t know where or what to do without being criticized. I’ve went door to door and also walked many miles to tell other people and talk to the homeless about this and people obviously think im insane. I’m just stuck on how to do it the right way??

I read his book the year it came out. I was 32 and absolutely loved this publication. I was thrilled when 2 and 3 were available. I never made it through those 2 though. I was so determined to enrich my life and live who I was supposed to be. I knew many things very young and there and still does remains a very strong energy that keeps me from stepping over. The reason I didn't finish the set is interesting. I reached out back then to others that I perceived as spiritual. All bringing me to different realizations. I was turned completely off to CWG by a certain group of individuals I encountered during my journey. The things they were implying to me did not seem to be about any of the messages I received from his writings. I was young and easily persuaded not in the sense of doing stupid or illegal things just a thinking process. That's a hard one to explain. These people though we're freaky and it just turned me off completely. My life has been a rollercoaster. I'm 57 now and this just popped up to my suggestions. I am going to read book 1 again. I know what I'm supposed to do I need to break that force!

Mat Aharon 🐟 09. REINCARNATION (OR NOT):
There is NOTHING about the individual person (the ego) which passes on to another body after death, except, perhaps, very subtle mind patterns (“vāsanā”, in Sanskrit). For example, in my present incarnation, I have a strong affinity for the culture of Bhārata (India), a highly-advanced intellectual capacity, a very slim body, and an attraction to a frugivorous diet. That suggests there was an Indian spiritual master in the previous century which had some (or perhaps, even all) of these characteristics, but it was not “ME”, since what I am now is this ever-mutable Aryan-Australian gentleman. These “subtle mind patterns” are known in psychology as the “collective unconscious”, in new-age spirituality as the “akashic records”, and in Islam as the “Preserved Tablet”. There is an abundance of evidence that humans are born with certain psycho-emotive links to previous persons, times and places. As mentioned, in my case, I have an EXTREMELY strong bond with all things Indian, despite not being of Indian origin, and the “collective unconscious” explanation is the best explanation currently available. For the popular view of reincarnation to be plausible, there would need to be an entity or an OBJECT called a “soul” (“jīva” or “ātmana”, in Sanskrit), which somehow finds a copulating couple, then enters the woman’s uterus, to inhabit a zygote. Assuming the existence of an individual spiritual soul is profoundly illogical, because spirit is (by most definitions) the antithesis of finite matter. Therefore, how can an immaterial “soul” be confined to a single person’s body? It seems rather strange to believe that the universe was organized naturalistically in such a manner as to “recycle” an object called a “soul”, or even to recycle minds, particularly when one understands that a mind is naught but a series of flickering thoughts. Some believe that the “thing” which transfers to the next incarnation are the remnants of one's actions (“vāsanā” or “saṃskāra”, in Sanskrit) or at least one's psychological disposition (likes, dislikes, phobias, etcetera). This is far closer to the idea of the collective unconscious, and even if it is a perfectly accurate account of what occurs after death, it still cannot give substance to the notion of a SEPARATE individual which is travelling from one body to another and again to another (“saṃsāra”, in Sanskrit). On the other hand, evidence suggests that even the foetus in the womb experiences dreaming, and logically-speaking, it may have had conscious experiences in another incarnation or realm. The analogy of one candle being lit by another candle is apt. Are the two flames the same flame or completely different flames? According to the law of conservation of energy, PART of the energy is transferred from one wick to another wick, a portion of the energy is released by the flame, and part of the energy remains with the original candle. When I die, I will be reabsorbed into the biosphere and my story will come to an end FOREVER. This fact is difficult for many to accept, since they are thoroughly attached to their false egos, their minds, their bodies and their possessions. However, when one realizes that he is not an ever-mutating psycho-physical organism, but never-changing Consciousness, all fears are alleviated. The only thing left of a person at the time of death (apart, possibly, from the accumulation of memories which are added to the collective unconscious) are the five gross material elements. To put it more accurately and succinctly, the only 'thing' which remains is the only thing which has ever 'existed' - Pure Unalloyed Awareness, or Eternal Conscious Peace (“sacchidānanda”, in Sanskrit). Putting aside whether or not reincarnation is an accurate account of what happens in this world, it is ABSOLUTELY certain that we receive a completely new body approximately every seven years (via a gradual process, of course). Our first body was a microscopically-sized zygote and our present body is several kilograms heavier. From where has all that extra weight come? Obviously, from all the nutrients that we have absorbed via the umbilical cord in our mother's uterus, or via the food, air and water we've consumed since birth. Therefore, one who believes that he is nothing more than the body-mind organism is grossly ignorant of basic biological science. We can all easily understand that our infantile body is completely and utterly different to our present-day form, so logically, our true identity must be something quite APART from it. In “Bhagavad-gītā”, one of the very greatest spiritual authorities the world has ever known, Lord Śri Krishna, uses the analogy of how the individual person (“ego”, in Latin, or “jivātmana”, in Sanskrit) travels through the various stages of life (that is, from childhood, to pubescent adulthood, to geriatric) with His description of the process of reincarnation, as conceived by the ancient seers (“ṛṣi” [rishi], in Sanskrit) of India (“Bhārata”, in Sanskrit). “...each person is destined to die once...” Anonymous (possibly Saint Paul of Tarsus), Letter to the Hebrews, 9:27. “The entity that is supposed to be reincarnated in another body, does not even itself exist, except as a concept! How can a mere concept be reborn?” ************* “The fear of death, is actually a product of the desire to perpetuate one's identity. Were you not dead before you were born? Those who know Reality, know the falsehood of life and death.” ************* “It is fallacious to think that there is an individual self, which functions through the body and the mind. The 'me' as an individual self, is merely a mental modification, and there is no such thing as a mind, apart from thought. When the source of thought is probed continuously as it arises, it is revealed, that there is no such thing as mind, or an individual behind it.” Ramesh Balsekar, Indian Spiritual Teacher.

Paul Alsleben he isn’t lying. I also received the message a few years ago and I hadn’t even read the Bible or had any outside info about an awakening. I had to look it up once God told me. It’s truly a trippy experience. However it hasn’t officially occurred to me until this year. It’s a hard thing to adjust to. We don’t ask for these things God comes to us at times when we aren’t aware, it’s NOT a joke.
