It's crazy how a 3D game like db legends is around 6-8 GB, but a 2D game like dokkan is around 15GB almost the same amount as honkai starrail

Every single Dokkan Fest (and most LRs) released since 2019 or so has their own unique BGM. They also all have fairly lengthy Super Attack/Transformation/Active Skill animations that have a lot of unique assets. Since the 6th Anniversary we also have Support Memories that have bespoke animations. Since the 7th Anniversary some characters now have special Entrance Animations (which also have their own BGMs separate from the transformation/active skill ones). I do wish the game took up less space, but at this point it's only going to go up and up and up.

But yes I think it weights about 30-40 gb I don’t remember fully, but it’s not surprising considering that it’s basically a pc game integrated into mobile without any integration.

Me who had to format an SD card as internal storage just to keep playing the game on my phone: "I WON'T LET YOU DESTROY MY WOOOORLD"

My Xenoverse 2 is like 19 gb lol, so I'd say it's pretty close, which is bad considering Dokkan is a DB png game and XV2 is a 3d game, sheesh

I have 32 GB storage (technically 16gb since system takes up half of my storage

I swear companies need to learn how to reduce size these games take up. I might have to upgrade to a new phone with more storage if I want to play Dokkan and emulators.

This is just bad memory management, dbl takes about 8.5 gb in total. While Dokkan takes 16 gb for me, almost twice as much. And funny enough, db legends actually has hundreds of high res 3d models, while Dokkan only has 2d pictures and animations

not to mention dbl has an option to do a full download or necessary assets only. like i know there's bgm and shit like that for dokkan, but dbl has ultra and lf units that would took more storage due to its animation. not to mention the special arts as well when you swipe and also story

@@Hymn_ i played dragon ball legends and it doesnt require that much skill to get to rank 70 in there as long as you have the best units all i did was spam cards and i was able to win most battles

@@1_Flare well it's most likely the fact that you have meta units, but when you get higher the opponent gets more skilled at the game. i wouldn't call the game hard, but not easy either. since you can be lucky to meet braindead opponents that got carried by their units or you meet someone extremely skilled. not to mention matchmaking problems like lag, force quit, freeze, etc

Skill issue, get a more spacious phone (i dont recommend iphones)

Depends on how rich you are, cuz if you are rich then you could easily buy an iPhone 15 pro max with 512 gb or even 1 tb and upgrade in like 5-6 years (obviously you can upgrade faster depending on how rich you are)
