Keep in mind, Devon's right arm is still recovering from surgery and isn't "super match" shape yet. It's been injured since before his match with Bresnan (which he had to eek out 4-3 as a result). He's been competing entirely on the left for the last two years.

For those commenting on Lars' technique: it's called a shoulder press. Lots of guys use it, and it presents an advantage (when properly executed) against pullers who commonly top roll.

Adding to that: The reason there are backyard videos of people getting their arms broken is because they don't know what they are doing. They foolishly learned somewhere (probably middle school) that you aren't supposed to lean, twist, curl, etc., and everything is supposed to be straight left and right. That's a good way to tear ligaments and break bones. These professionals know every technique, and train the proper muscle groups intensely.

Crazt how Devon is able to pull, stop and beat guys alot bigger than him. That dude is twice the size of him...crazy sport. Really goes to show the inner strenght and mental capacity. Usually, if a guy is clearly alot stronger he should win....not necessarily so in armwrestling. Technique goes along way if u know what ur doing it seems. Pretty wild. Love this shit.

No, just doesn't say anything. This was a practice not a match.

Only technique Lars can make Larratt work is flop press. It just shows that he has much greater strength in triceps and shoulder than wrist and biceps.

Is Lars' technique approved? He doesnt push sideways but rather turns his body and pushes forward. Just wondering.. My point is that the rules state you have to have shoulders square when you start and he hasnt.

Not sure, but I don't see why not. I mean as long as his elbow is not fouling then it's no issues. The technique is strong because he uses his strong triceps, and it's stronger in the pushing forward motion. I'd imagine if he pushes it sideways it's more of a breakarm risk. So he turns sideways to be able to push forward, which is legit. Edit: I didn't see your second sentence - so I guess in a real match he'll have to square up first before quickly turn sideways and push forwards.

Larratt has had surgery done to his right elbow. He is making some solid progress though. Give him a year or two and he will be crushing everybody again. His left is getting SUPER powerful too.
