Paul hasn't changed in 10 years. In this video he looks just like the recent ones 👏👍
Very impressive aircraft - light twins have come a long way from the twin Commanches and 310's I used to fly
6.6GPH per side? That's actually really good for a high speed cruise...
Beautiful looking aircraft.
Is the DA42 loud? Compared to other ME a/c, SEP a/c ?
why overhaul when its likely cheaper to just replace them with new ones
@jmister22 The diesel engines are turbo engines
What do you usually fly?
So, 13 years after your original report, can you share your final though on these engine?
4:07 - "Take that, Dan Gryder" 😂👌
@jmister22 They have "turbo" diesel engines...
needs a turbo! that would make it sooooo much better. also wouldnt hurt to have a greater MTOW, cant realistically put 4 peps in this bad boy
Crap, I forgot that these were diesels hahaha
Why these engines are called diesel when are made to burn jet-A fuel?

because they are diesel car engines by Mercedes... jet A is just clean diesel
