I love both versions of this song, I listened to Nickelback growing up and I listen to Avril now. She has a great strong voice.

An advantage of this version is I can actually make out the lyrics. I'd always assumed Nickelback was singing: "Despite words in my head, scream alwehavvafuyeaah...!"

@@AdmiralBonetoPick Yep, this version is much calmer and clearer in the lyrics (though I always heard clearly what he was saying) While in the original, you can really feel the anger and emotion in the lyrics.

I can't overstate how much I personally love this version. Nickelback's is great, but the piano, slightly slower tempo and overall smoother, softer tone to this one just hits me like nothing else.

Read somewhere before that how this version is, was how Chad wanted it to be. The record labels made Nickelback record it how the label wanted it instead. Love both version tho

Her voice is so angelic, soft and sweet. Avril's so pretty, cute, chill and talented. This version is amazing.

As a fan of both Avril and Nickleback, I can't believe I'm just discovering she covered one of my best Nickleback songs. This is absolutely pure gold 👌🏻🏆

@@mistyisland343 for some people who only wants to have simple story (don't have to think) they pick Naruto instead, that's why many kids loves Naruto, because the story is so simple. One Piece is different. It's on another level. If you skip an arc then you'll lose plenty of informations. The story is attached from the beginning to the current chapter/episode. Unlike most manga where the writers keeps adding new contents but don't know what to do with it, for example Hunter X Hunter.

Thx. ❤️ I never forgot the lyrics because this song was my childhood especially thus Avril cover. I will sing this song again just like I did when I was a little girl growing up like a men and I couldn't really cut it and I finally was strong enough to came out as transgender or more like the girl I used to be I've been wrong I've been down to the bottom of every bottle this is how I remind me and this is how this song reminds me of who I really am. It must have killed my Mam but she was happy she already knew that I was still here I used to sing all Avril and Nickelback songs. My entire childroom was filled of Avril posters. etc. I was waiting on a different story and this time I'm not mistaken.

One of the most beautiful and brilliant remakes ever! Avril is such an innovator, the way she can put her own spin on a Nickelback classic and add storytelling from one piece at the end, just truly remarkable stuff. The irony, her and Chad got divorced right as/after she did this. Savage but sexy 💀 🌹😍

I love this song. I think Avril's voice is beatiful but this song is the best in her songs.

This song helped me through the worst heartbreak of my life. Friends turned into Enemies and the guy I thought was the love of my life was the reason they did and he manipulated me and my feelings. He made me believe that I'm the worst human on earth just because I was smart enough not to fully trust him. He was the worst guy I could fall for and I fell hard. This song was released on the exact same time. Thank you Avril, for helping me through the darkest times of my life.

I love how Avril does cover tunes. Everyone else seems to try and mimic the original. But Avril gives it her own beet and does it her way. She does a really good job at it too. 💯

I was searching for an Avril Lavigne song that I haven't heard before & WOW that was a surprise! I love this song.
