Actually the topic is different... Avrils is more about a woman seeking a man...a lasting relationship, a happy fairytale ending. She wants love. She wants the man to give her that dream, even if it's just fake because she craves that. She feels lonely and unwanted so she will do anything to feel loved and wanted even if it means giving him what he wants... which is her body. She Hope's that this feeling isnt fake and by giving him what he wants he will fall in love... but also he doesnt. He leaves happy in the morning and she feels regret for giving him her body... once again alone and rejected. TPR is about an existing relationship that is failing.
