If I were to buy an Avo key, would I get some sort of digital key so I can use the software whilst waiting for the physical key to arrive? I've just been put on a gig with an Avo but I don't have access to it till the day (Thursday) and need to pre-programme today.

Hello, i'm just getting into DMX lighting. Would you suggest going down the Avolite route (i know their maybe a little biased opinion 😂), being a beginner? As well as that, if i purchased a titan one do i also need to purchase an avokey - does this register the software and can it be used on more than one device? Sorry for so many questions (as i said i'm a beginner). Thanks Rob!

If you purchased a T1 from us you would not need an Avokey as its already built in to the product. If you purchase an old titan one second hand then you would need an avokey to get up to date software features and bug fixes

i have a external avokey and dont work whit titan one.

So if I forget it at home in Ohio, Im screwed for show in Virginia?

The key is permanently fitted inside the console, so there's nothing to forget

Sam, if YOU do something as useless as take the USB key out and "forget it at home" .. then you deserve to learn the valuable lessons of how silly it was to take it out in the first place. Leave it alone and inserted inside the console for all future shows. Avolites and team have worked hard to further diminish the very real problem of counterfeiting by way of China. If you and others just turn around and mess that up? ... it's on you.

@@richardchilvers7711 Hi Richard, if you currently own the Titan Mobile you'll need the external Avokey which you'll need to license once and it will work on any pc you use with your Mobile.
