You are correct about the tents being damaged when putting up or down. The one thing I would suggest to you is using two pegs on the windward side. One peg per guy line. This takes quite a lot of pressure of the peg and half's the chance of one coming out.

another great video, you definitely deserve more subs, which I'm sure you'll gain more every day. looked like a great little spot too and I always take ear plugs as a very light sleeper. I've found now that having an early one helps a lot if it's gonna be a windy night. but mostly when I wake I just watch stuff on my phone til I nod off again.

Watched it all now and another superb video. You're a Natural at this. Your presentation style is Bob on. Informative, Interesting and a bloody big dose of Yorkshire Humour.. Big compliments them, coming from a Lancashire Bloke 😆 Video and sound quality spot on, Brilliant location and the best Video Title on the Internet !! i really enyoy the local moors camps as well, Lakes is great, but I love the West Pennine Moors, Yorkshire Dales etc. Only 45 minutes for me to Ilkley Moor so I think I might be having a look up there myself. You've rapdidly jumped in to my top 3 must watch You Tube Channels. 👍

Thanks James, I use different apps depending on where I am, for this 1 would of probably just used the standard met office weather app then used the location for where I was pitched.

I got the old probe off the aliens one night out near Fylingdales, "they said they were aliens" but hey it wasn`t that bad as I got a T shirt and mug from the gift shop on the way out. Cin cin
