16:20 For those wondering: this style of motel is meant for lovers who drive in together in a car (or taxi) and not for those who simply walk-in. This explains why the prices are like that. It's meant for very short stays. You drive in, do your thing, and then leave. It is also why the reception looks like that. You transact with them thru the window of your car much like a drive-thru McDonalds. That is also why the ground floor is "empty". It is meant to be a garage for your car. You do the deed at the second floor. I... umm... learned this from a friend. 😆 24:20 Impressive how Filipino kids can conduct an English conversation quite well. This is a major reason why PHL is ideal for tourists. Btw, as usual, ALi is being EXCEPTIONALLY kind by giving them moolah at the end. ♥🤗♥ But rest assured, those kids are just happy to help and do not expect to be paid for it.
I got teary eyed when you gave those kids some money; I was at that age when I left Manila and I know how those kids felt, so thank you Ali for the kind gesture.
Those boys are so sweet. It made me tear up a little of how genuinely helpful they were. God Bless Them! I have only gone back to the Philippines once in 34 years. You are inspiring me to go back home. Thank you for sharing this, Ali!

Thank you for helping those people in that community and making the world a better place! I have been living here for almost 6 years with my wife now. The people here never cease to amaze me. Their ability to remain happy and have a good life even when dealing with some extreme levels of poverty is very inspiring. It makes you reevaluate your own happiness. It humbles you and it becomes so much easy to be happy. I always try to help random people as much as I can. A lot of the time the way you do it by just surprising good people with a bonus. Mainly the ones that don't try and foreigner tax me are typically the good people. Obviously my wife plays the biggest role in making me happy. I have never met a woman so amazing and beautiful in one package. If you're lucky enough to find a wife from this country you will thank your lucky stars everyday. Good luck on your hunt!

Hi Ali, I've been all over the Philippines over the last 30 years, and my first experience of cockroaches was on my very first visit, but it wasn't in a poor low cost hotel, I found them on the 6th floor of the Hilton hotel Roxas Blvd, Manila! great friendly kids, most Filipino people are so friendly 😊
Thank you Ali for being nice and generous to my fellow Filipinos there in the Philippines 🇵🇭
I am happy that finally some Vloggers with a good attitude are here again. Another vlogger who is down to earth as you, Nadir, is in Manila too at the moment, and checks out food. "Nadir On The Go" is the channel. I think you could get along quite well. You both are always recommended to me at the same time :) So maybe time for a collab (he has 100.000 subs more than you, you could profit from it) What you both, because of your background, could do together, is visiting Quiapo.. The best halal food north of Mindanao is there in the muslim city part. Or did you already? Sorry if I forgot? Its getting trendy now, because of its vicinity to Binondo, I think it will soon be part of every food tour in Manila
Im touched and cried when you give 500 to a lady , i can see in her eyes the gratefulness. Thank you Ali . God Bless you more ❤ And i love the end of this video 🤭💋

You know, bro, I just watched your vlog for the first time today, and you showed a characteristic of a Filipino: companionship. Getting along with people, especially those you don't know well, is a good example. You are very generous, especially to the candy seller grandma, and the Joyride rider. I am also a joyride rider, and we work very hard. The tip you gave is a big help because we earn 1,000 to 1,500 pesos for 8-12 hours. The tip you give will really make the rider go home immediately. Those kids were really sweet to walk with you all the way to the hotel & were quite intuitive in asking their questions. Speaking of hotel...no way mate would I ever stay at that place! The cockroaches alone were a huge deterrent! You should've told them to bomb the room first then change all the sheets in front of you before settling in for the night. These motels are not necessarily for prostitutes. Some couples have children at home and they need a quiet place to have fun. Or this could be a short “vacation” for the couple. Or boyfriends and girlfriends that still live with their parents and they need a place to have “fun” also. There’s a reason why the Philippines is one of the fastest growing population in Asia.😍🙂 Thanks for a very fascinating video tour.

Thank you ❤️ Glad I made you reminisce
Hi Ali .I came along your YT channel while browsing in my tv & tried your to watch a few segments. You are from London & I have been here in Bristol UK for 23 yrs. I am amazed that you have been blogging about my country & probably known more of the places than me.Thank you for showing the culture & simle life of my kababayan in your vlogs & please stay safe as there are some Filipinos who may take advantage of your kindness. Also beware of pick pocketers in public transports, as also in London. & Italy
Man what makes you so different from other vloggers is the 'RESPECT' and 'LOVE' you extend towards others without expecting anything in return. That is the winner. Class brother God bless you and that is indeed the way forward.

Welcome back @gowithali❤❤❤I love watching your videos. You did a great job. Not because you give some tips or helping people in a simple way, but you make every Filipino happy. The Filipinos are naturally happy even in the smallest thing. They are very appreciative and contented.
