the real problem with me isn't about making the product, but is to get customers, that's why im doing marketing before even write a line of code and instead building an email list

How do you do the marketing? Do you run ads? And how do you market a product that isn't build yet?

@@laviray5447 i like lowering the risk, i won't pay for ads, instead i just have a subdomain on my saas where i write blog about the saas niche, like, im having a tool to automate youtube channel with bots, and i write blogs about how to automate your youtube channel & best tools etc, free organic traffic, and when people check the website and see something like BETA and early access things, they enter the waitlist directly, just work a little bit on seo and don't focus on one keyword, do a little bit of off-page optimization via writing blogs in other platforms, or even just social media, good luck, just do some plans and know what you are doing

I’ve definitely engineered a better mouse trap before with too little effort on sales which doesn’t work! The successful companies I’ve worked for are somewhere in the neighborhood of 60-40 ratio of engineering to sales.

There are a few courses on micro saas, but what they are not telling you is that there’s no step by step, every one is unique and you have to try and fail over and over again

I once read a medium blog post saying you should focus on bottom of the funnel content when starting out. So that would more or less equal the "Solution Aware" stage and onwards. What do you think about that approach? Focusing on sales ready traffic first before trying to educate people?

Hey I have a question. I notice you've never (to my knowledge anyway) covered terms of service and privacy policies in any of your videos. Is this topic not a big deal or not pertinent when it comes to building a SaaS, or are there some videos you would recommend on the subject?

I’m not a lawyer, so I cannot give specific advice on this. That said, in the early days, for most businesses, the founders use boilerplate verbiage. At a certain point it becomes worth hiring an attorney for custom terms (which are really just boilerplate terms they edit). It’s all about your risk tolerance as to what point you spend the money to have this done right.
