Graham Allison, the originator of the "Thucydides's Trap" theory, has warned the two countries could fall into a dangerous relationship - and even conflict - which could undermine future global peace and security. A new book, titled "Escaping the Thucydides's Trap," has been written by Wang Huiyao, the chairman of the Center for China and Globalization. Can China and the United States avoid such a trap? Is it possible for China and the U.S. to forge a new strategic relationship in which the two countries can compete and cooperate at the same time? In this episode, we've invited both Professor Allison and Dr. Wang to join the discussion.

One american professor said in Davos it will take years and decades until you settle the issues. If it will take years and decades, then both of you US and China stop using my invention.

I don't believe that "T's trapped" is correctly applicable to nowadays situations, although it concepts were somewhat accurate..Things do change as of 4 seasons R constantly changing, so will the "T's trapped" ..It is outdated and needed to revise to fit to our modernized world of Chinese characteristics believe in living in peacefulness and harmony with the surroundings.. These T's trappings are NOT going to work 4 those who are WISELY to see things thru and thru in transparent manners and NOT via darkness of mindsets as the👨🦯..Period..

@@TacticalMayo It is true the "NEW & EFFECTIVE ONE'S" CAN REPLACE the "OLD, BORING 🥱 & USELESS 😵💫 ONE'S" without any doubt..However, the "METHODOLOGIES" of replacements DO NOT HAVE TO BE THE SAME although the ULTIMATE GOALS ARE ACHIEVABLE SUCESSFULLY WITH MORE PEACEFUL & HARMONIOUS OUTCOMES..PERIOD..
