Kevin thank you so much
Dear Kevin There is a body of opinion, that Slavic language speakers will never acquire a full sense/perception of article usage due to existing differences in the English language and the East European languages. Would you please comment on that. Has such a strong proposition got a leg to stand?
I learned. Thanks very much, Kevin!

I wonder whether Marina really took the toefl test 😂
Marina rocks! 😅
More Marina please 😅
She took the toefl test 3 times.she needs to take it 3 more times😂😂
My car's running on empty. just like the Jackson Browne's song says "running on empty". I think that expression's got other meanings but I don't recall what they are, I just remember one: - running out of gas, the car's functioning with the reserve gas.
I think "to fill in" and "to fill out" are separable phrasal verbs, aren't they Kevin ?. I mean, we can say: - fill out that application. Or. - fill that application OUT. - fill in the space. Or. - fill the space IN. Thanks in advance for the answer

As a non-native speaker I might be wrong, but I was thinking "Fill in" is a British verson of American "Fill out". At least when it comes to forms, applications or gaps in grammar exercises
Marina should watch your videos Kevin first , thank you Kevin…
thanks a lot, this video is really useful , especially about phrasal verbs. but still I can't understand the meaning of "meet up"- I am meeting up with my friends tomorrow. What's the different between meet and meet up?
Понятно. Маринку НЕ слушаем
She's back again 😂
“Fill in the application” is British English
What really baffles me is that you're aware of your mistakes whether if it is by other people's feedback or a late insight you had and you still write a script, edit your material and ultimately post the video with those errors included. At least record that part once again and just attach it to the rest of the footage without having the need of recording it from scratch but I guess Marina got used to uploading her vids with zero concern whatsoever

I'm a little confused man, whose mistakes are you referring to ?. What do you mean by: "whether if it is"
Hi my name is Timur and a wanna be like a god and order everything in the world , what I need to do ?
You destroyed her😅
Give them hell Kevin.
It truly puzzles me why some guys learn foreign languages from the 'teachers' for whom English is a second language,? specifically from nice girls from Eastern Europe or Russia, they never lose their accent and make tons of grammar mistakes,,, they're sometimes good but not with everything,,
So it's wrong to say "shake the juice up"? Up comes after "it" only?
TOEFL it's one of the hardest test you can take because you can't score a high score in this test i take before it was extremely hard what about you guys
@fredylopez2477
Ай бұрын
TOEFL IS not (it's). What do you mean by; "I take before it was extremely hard". I think you meant to say (text): "I TOOK it before it was extremely hard".
Funny I know what's up with Marina without watching her videos lol
What I have noticed from watching thr short clips of her is that she speaks incredibly fast which is unnecessary. She probably would make those simple mistakes if she took her time. Then again, if she scripts her videos then they're genuine basic mistakes that someone who's fluent in English should not make especially when teaching others.
I think she's gonna need more than crossed fingers to pass the test 😂
I hope Marina watches these videos. She needs to improve her English.

Her channel started speaking about TOEFL, I used to watch her videos when she was a newcomer to KZread many years ago. Update: It was actually 8 years ago, and she got 117 out of 120, which is impressive, most native speakers wouldn't get that score
@arthemas8176

@@BogotaMusichannelquite impressive since she keeps making basic mistakes like omission of the articles, grammar etc

How do you know that she got that score, let me doubt it, it can't be possible that a native English speakers wouldn't get that score in their own mother tongue, besides she hasn't shown any official documents that confirms she passed the test, with all the basic mistakes she makes I doubt she can pass it, I'm gonna believe her when she proves it with conclusive evidence not just because she says so.

@@fredylopez2477 hello, it is ok if you are doubtful, although that doesn't mean she hasn't gotten that score. Also, there many videos online from native speakers taking the TOEFL or the IELTs and they usually get very good, but not excellent scores. These exams are hard. It will take you just a couple of minutes or less to find them, for example, there is one called "can a native speaker NAIL the toefl part two." On that one the test taker only got 102. Usually for native speakers Writing is the most challenging part, often times they get B2 level. There is another video of a native IELTS teacher in which he shared his results and he the highest for all skills but writing, just a B2 for that one.

Good decision!
She took the TOEFL test three times and she didn't pass 😊, 'cause she learned nothing, I mean, she didn't learn ANYTHING at all, she keeps making basic mistakes and if by any chance, she happened to pass the test it's just because she paid to pass it. - She said that she took the test several times but she didn't say whether she passed it or not. I think she didn't pass any of the three tests (exams). - She said all that to show off or to brag. 😊. I'd like her to show some kind of official document that confirms she passed that test but I doubt it.

TOEFL doesn't have a passing score, the certificate just indicates the score you reached. So, technically, Marina passed the test whatever score she had. The passing score differs from place to place, and each uni/college or agency sets its own minimum score. Perhaps, her level is B2 (which would be around 80 TOEFL score), but she tried to pass it for an institution with the minimum of 95 requirement (which would be around C1). In this case one can say "she didn't pass", but that would be true for a specific institution only. You can't fail the TOEFL test, but you can fail to reach the minimum you need for your own goal. She makes many mistakes, but she definitely has at least the B2 level which is enough to freely communicate with native speakers and officials and to feel comfortable in an English-speaking country (but it's not enough to teach).
