Those mistakes are understandable if you're a beginner, but they're inexcusable if you're "teaching" the language

hard to believe that these girls have the guts to 'teach ' English if they make so many mistakes but the internet takes everything without questions
It is such a gift for Marina a.k.a a free phonetics and pronunciation course. And for us, thank you!

@@rocketmoonshine9205 If you say "I used to study" your listener will understand you studied there at some point in the past (very frequently) but you don't anymore, it's a ditched habit. On the other hand, "I went to this university" doesn't focus on how usual the event was and simply states you were in the university studying, visiting someone or browsing career tuitions e.g. Used to is for repeated habits in the past with no current implications, Went or simple past is for actions that already happened regardless of the number of ocurrences

@@thaivnman3034 Well you might be right but I think it sounds better if you saud: - "I studied IN this university". If you say "at" it sounds more like you were near the university. Well this is how I see it. # If in doubt, I think it's better to say "I used to study and I graduated from this university" You can use the preposition "IN" if you work there too (the university)
Thank you for your videos 🤝
Thank you for this lesson. I didn’t know the rule about special verbs “sound”, “look”, “taste”
Oh man! You spoilt her hard work
I hear 'I started from this University'😊
I really like your channel. Greeting from north Tapanuli.

Good job
Thanks a lot🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
T. KEVIN IS THE BEST 👌 👍
Best channel to learn correct English ! Not from Marina the wannabe " teacher"!
Yeah I noticed that i used i speak English very good but I must have used will it was not correct
The grammar mistakes should not be made by someone who is teaching English online. These are basic grammar. Hope someone will not learn English from those fake teachers.
When he is not playing a fiddle, he gets really miserable." "I thought, she fiddled with anything, and she understood what she was doing; however, within a few months she told me that she was autistic." "I just wanted to examine the flower for the insects." "When he acts up, his parents just discipline him." "I prefer butter rather than margarine." "Sir, are you certain that it is a genuine masterpiece?" Not only can genuine leather be expensive, but also banned at all in some countries." "While others were screaming, she was searching for the entrance. "Their reputation is determined, depending on the attitudes that they stick to." Thank you very much for your invaluable video, it is highly appreciated by me. Using the prepositions in a proper way seems to be a hassle to everyone.
I used to take medicines but thank goodness not anymore
English is difficult.

to speed up your progress to a more advanced level IN english

I would say 'of'
❤❤❤❤
Actually 'advanced' used to be en exact level when I was a university student in Russia. It was 20 years ago. We had Oxford or Cambridge student books and the 'advanced' course was between 'upper-intermediate' and 'proficiency' courses. I guess the 'advanced' level was the level we now call 'C1'.
Better call Saul is a tough one. Saul, soul, soil, sole.
Marina should try Hollywood, she belongs to their “culture” and she definitely can act.
Let; s practice...
Please speed up your videos by removing pauses.
Sometimes I think that Marina could pick up some of the grammatical constructions she now uses from old popular American songs like "Who you gonna call" with its "it don't look good", or "but my baby don't love nobody but me", where the wrong grammar was used for the purpose of rhythm or because of the cultural context of a songwriter.
Marina is a con artist, not the English language teacher.
Hi Kevin, I've just got a doubt, in this video you said; - "to speed up your progress in a more advanced level IN English". BUT, in the screen says: - "to speed up your progress in a more advanced level OF English". You used two different prepositions, well, both prepositions sound good and natural to me BUT, I'd like to know which one's the correct one. Thanks in advance for the answer kevin. 😊👍.

Both prepositions are correct
Arianitta's case is very rare to me, she makes so many mistakes in basic grammar which would be understandable if it were exclusively reduced to daily slips or confusions, nevertheless, prepositions and articles usage that's something you're taught in elementary school, even kindergarten, never fails to unsettle me. Personally, I've heard non-native speakers with a much better verbal command than her such as Caroline Kowanz and that shouldn't be the case since she's always promoted herself as a born and raised American girl

Maybe she was born in the US, but her parents didn't speak English well when they arrived in the US. And they homeschooled her. So she never went to a primary school where someone would have taught her proper grammar. So, her speak is influenced by the native language that as far as I know is Polish. (This is only my theory, I mean, it's the only explanation I can give for her mistakes.)

@@Andrew21219 But she graduated from a university. She already has a degree. She should not be making any mistakes. Probably she studied 4 or 5 years there.

@@anicioantonioariasramirez8557 But what type of university? I was enroled in an online US university. And most people weren't native speakers. Being fluent in English wasn't even a requirement to register.

@@anicioantonioariasramirez8557 I was studying in an online American university, and as non-native speakers we were required to take English classes first. I can tell that a peer review system is one of the worst and most useless things that can exist in a studying process.

Is this due to the polysemy of the word 'way'?
Vokauushbulsry, grammma 😂 oh dear, at least she's funny... sometimes.
I have a question for you:)) I believe we can use “look” with “differently”. If I printed out some text and I wanted to change the font, or color I would use the word Differently. “I want my text looks differently “. And if I wanted to rewrite my text I would use the word Different. Am I right? Thank you so much for your videos!!!!!!

No. I want my text look* different*. It is crucial for text to always look* its best, regardless of platform.

I am a native Spanish speaker and saying "they look differently" is completely wrong, I mean when I translate it into Spanish.
5.07 of the video - Kevin says “level in English”, but it is written “level of English”. Which one is correct? Or they both are interchangeable?

Can I say, I studied in this university?
She can't stop, shame !
If someone works there, we say; - I work IN this university. If you study, you say; - I study AT this university. If you graduate, you say; - I graduated FROM this university. If you're heading for the place, you say; - I'm going TO the (that) university.

This is nothing wrong with making mistakes in English but you can't teach people who trust you that you will teach them to speak English very good all i see lack of work because if you are not an English speaker there is nothing wrong if you looked up your information before you make your video because this people who needs to learn correct words because they're studying for exams and they gonna get a bad score because of your leak of work in all of your videos

How could she graduate if her English is so bad?
