Recently, I gave both the blacksmith brother's daffodils and then rummaged through the trash only to get a daffodil and I just went "😨 who did this". Good to know it can happen to anyone 😂

I think I would add - as cute as the trash pathing and fencing is, DON'T waste your trash on making them. Once you've cleared the ocean, it is so hard to get trash in any quantity, and you need so much scrap and so much compost (if you want to make fertilizer) that I wish I hadn't lost so much early on. I wish we could break the path and fencing back down into trash again. However - ABSOLUTELY make the trash chest very first thing, as storage is so important. You CANNOT drop an item on the ground and pick it up later if your inventory is full, so having a place you can stash your good stuff is important. You can store things in your selling box, just remember to remove them again before bed. I've also stopped making fertilizer for plants that are one time crop yields. I only use it for repeating crops because it just takes too much trash to make it over and over again.

The caves actually spawn an infinite amount of trash, so it’s not that difficult to get more but I definitely agree that people should hold off on them Edit: I’m a dummy who didn’t realize this was a year ago. My point still stands but yes

@@kittyowlblu don't worry! that was old information. Now they've added 4 different caves in the ocean that open after you clean a portion of it. The are endless rooms of trash, coffers, and fossils. Make all the trash items you want! Happy playing!

Also, recommended to go to your setting and put the time to 50% speed. Really helps in early games where you can spend more time foraging, fishing, etc

re: the trash cans, some fish so far have *only* been found in trash cans like the "black phantom ghost fish" so definitely worth bumping them for that reason too

@@LeopardThongPrint Yeah in the recent big updates they added them into the waterways. Previously, they'd only been found in trashcans.

Another one is: "Do NOT wait on finishing those temple bundles!" Everytime you finish a seasonal bundle you get access to more seeds. The further in the month you wait the less likely you'll be able to plant those new seeds. I say this out of experience of doing this myself :(

I've done a pacifist run right down to the current bottom of the mines without my sword, so it's definitely doable. Did not know that there was a no-combat mode in development. That's nice to hear.

re: Seeds - The Wild Seeds can also give you crops that you cant access yet via the town rank system. It's very much worth it to plant those

I haven’t accidentally killed a crop with a tool but I have definitely wasted stamina by using my tools on the ground by mistake 😂 Happens a lot when I’m in a hurry with mining a big group of rocks together. Eventually my mouse will miss and I’ll just pickaxe the ground lol

Very helpful indeed, thanks! For me the most important tips were 'naming the chests' (for some reason I had not seen that option -.-) and 'upgrading the lab'.

3:26 In the top left corner of the mines there is a "crack" In the dirt, if you strike it with your pickaxe it will move keep striking it and it will lead you to a bonus ore spot!!! It took me wayyyyyy to long to realize that! But it's really helpful and a neat little feature :3

you actually want to upgrade your watering can the day BEFORE a rainy day, that way you can water, upgrade, have it rain the next day, then pick it up the next day after, assuming that next day is not a Friday. Make sure not to do this on a Friday as you won't be able to pick it up on Sunday.

Since I have not started it, this vid is gold for me. I watched it but I'll save it in my fav list to see it 3 or 4 more times before I start... Thank you queen Sarah!🙇‍♂🙇‍♂🙇‍♂

For tip 3 the random crops include ones you cannot buy right away, it's just a very rare chance.

holy crap, after trying to harvest the clovers, I just gave up -thank you for this! Also, was totally ignoring the Lab and hadn't realized the hot springs was open for stamina. (I do keep hitting my plots with the pick ax but that's because of the lag) Super useful tips!

You bet!! I’m so glad you’re enjoying this amazing game!! So your story progress will likely reset when there is a major update that fundamentally changes the game (there will be about 10 major content updates), however it’s been confirmed that for every update the plan is for us to keep our gold, everything in our storage, and our farm layout!!

I wish I could bash barrels by dashing forward lol 😆I really enjoyed this as I would be throwing out all the trash. I am just waiting for this to be finished before I buy it. I am having fun playing Skyrim and Guild Wars 2 so can wait. But when it's done I am really excited to play.

I believe a number of gamers are playing on the Mac with a Windows download. I think the developers are focusing on controller support and getting it to the switch after the Full Release.

I'm sooo ready for this game to hit the switch TT.TT I have fomo!

Tip number ZERO: never plant single crop you need, always do 3-4, better 8

I did the worse version of tip 4 which was accidentally destroy the chest that had most of my tools in it. reloading/restarting didn't bring em back for some reason and couldn't find anywhere to repurchase so I had to start a new save 💀 thankfully i was only like on day 4 or 5 of spring

How do you collect monster parts for the lake temple if you do a no combat run?

Combat takes so long to level its not really worth it anyway. Thanks for the tip on the green plants i have ignored them assuming i needed a shovel 😂

I do love the tree seed candy for on the go! But yes take advantage of the hot springs when you can! You can also chop trees outside of your property in the forest to get more seeds to re-plant on your farm!

Question how I keep crow from eating my crops? I even have scraecrow in places.

You can break the crates and barrels!?! Lol I tried with the axe…it didn’t dawn on me to try using the sword lol 🤦🏾‍♀️

I left the mine because I forgot my sword. Also, I didn't know about using the space bar.

1. the pickaxe things frustrates me.. lol now i just left the pickaxe inside a chest when i am tending my crops 2. the trashbin though.. when i needed trash the most, they spit out fishes, torn page and hibiscus...............

You are lucky they spit our fishes, torn pages, and hibiscus - worth a lot more than the trash. However, I totally understand when you need something and can't obtain it. I noticed Miss Sunstone tends to get trash from her Geode she takes to Pablo. I am always offended when I see that, but realize Trash may be just what you need. Good Luck!

I forgot to finish the spring temple offering bundle, and I'm almost done with the summer one, can I still unlock hotsprings if I finish my summer bundle? Or do I have to wait until Spring again?

The Spring offering can still me made if you have the items available. It does need 2 offerings to open.

I play on the Xbox and if I'm On it longer than an hr the game crashes and I have to start the whole day over does this happen to anyone else? Also do you think they will ever make a save where you don't finish off the day

How did I get to winter without knowing about the hotspring?!

How can I unlock the item near the smithy?

...I played through a whole year not grabbing the clovers T-T so sad

I forgot to save some crops in Spring. Now the undersea animals are asking me for some bronze potatoes... and I'm crying.

can you make the chest and inventory not to reorganize everytime log back into the game... example i have organize it into each column then after I went out and start the game again the box just automatic organize and put them together and i have to organize it again by dividing the color xD

Well, the first time I saw Mark I knew he was THE ONE 😂♥️

When I started to play the game, i sold ALL the trash 'cause I didn't know what to do with it. Then I discovered I would need it for make compost 😨 Disaster!! A difficult period started, with me looking everywhere for trash 'cause I didn't have enough 😅 I didn't know I could name the chests, thanks! 🤩

You don’t have to, but you can if you want to further increase your chances of growing higher quality crops!

I’ve seen a lot of people able to play it by running windows on their Mac, via Bootcamp or something similar. I haven’t tried it myself, but I suggest popping into the Discord, mine or Stairway Games’ to chat with others who have had success!

I have been throwing away all my wild seeds, I planted one and nothing happened so I assumed they where not much use at the start of the game.

i wish fully grown seedlings would go transparent when you're behind them.

I can't even place furniture the game is broken and unplayable for me i cant even type in the feedback box

Oh god damn it! I was hitting those clovers with every tool, because I was like "this is sure here for a reason"... Except with the hoe... sometimes I just forget it exist, it's my least used tool and it mostly sits in one of my chests.

Fish and Bugs I find in the trash do NOT allow me to donate them! IDK if this is a bug or an update..

i clicked on this coz Daddy Mark is in the thumbnail😌

Might I add another thing not to do. Do not upgrade your Water Can to Silver or Gold if the next day is not raining or not the final day of the month. Every day plants go without water is a noticable delay on crop growth, it is not worth upgrading them and not being able to water crops. Crops don't need to be watered on the last day of the month since most die after day anyways if they aren't finished growing, there is no need to worry about watering that day. It is also un-needed to water on rainy days. Hope this helps with judging when to upgrade your Watering Can to Silver and Gold.

It's not saying "hot people" and using NPCs in bathing suits, which are even implemented into the game at this time, like other channels. So I don't understand your reasoning. Miss Sunstone has used various characters throughout her videos so are they all "clickbait".
