I never know " shape" described as the condition without 'a'. He is in good shape. Keven, would you please teach us more "articles". I always confuse why I need to use 'a' ,'the' or without 'the' ,'a'.

According to the videos: They use the word "shape" the most when referring to human beings and their fitness And they use the word "condition", when referring to things like a car or a machine. Do they both mean same thing? Because in many clips shape is used to refer physically fit and coniditon for quality of car and machine
I'm just practicing my English I'm going to use indirect questions and good condition and good shape. Do you have any idea how my car looks? it wasn't in good condition it was in bad condition. Do you know how my body is? it is in good shape.
Our English is in good shape when we don't use "a/an" with uncountable nouns. Am I right?
