how will you replace cutters during a run if needed, with no access hatch to the cutterhead?

Like all machines smaller then AVN1200 (OD1505), the AVN600 machine does not provide a face access. These machines are too small to provide a face access which is compliant with the regulations. Anyhow with the right choice of the cutting wheel and the associated cutter tools usually the machine is able to build the tunnel w/o replacement of the cutter tools in accordance to the geology and tunnel length. @@HerrenknechtAG thanks for the reply. The company I work for recently bought a micro TBM rom Herrenknecht. Its a 1500 if im not mistaken, ive mined a good run with it and it has a hatch to the cutters, thats why I ask. Cheers

How much clearance is there between the hole bored by the machine and the pipe outer diameter?
