What a classic line up and a classic album, still gets spins on the turntable every few months, this reminded me of one of the best and unforseen live shows i ever had the privilege to attend, we were drinking beers at one of Jerusalem's bar/res called hamarakiya ( the soupary or the soup place) when one by one avishai and nitai ( i think it was a decade ago) walked in unannounced and just started playing spontaneously i remember them asking us to go along with spoons and forks as an improvised rhythm section, so great, such a great memory, you guys are awesome thanks for the memory and the music, peace!

So good. I subcribed to Paste for a while but then I was constantly flooded with bands I didnt like at all so I ended up unsubscribing. They seem to have a video mixture between styles and varieties. Some of my favorite bands have been on here but way more bands I want nothing to do with seem to appear so its a double edged axe. I wish it was a little more consistent in the bands they have because there are a lot of generic but not yet known bands yet that water it down. Also some bands sound great in the area and others don't transcribe so well. All in all i appreciate what you are doing so thank you.

No disrespect intended. I did this interview and nearly one thousand others at Paste Studio. It is never my intention to minimize anybody. I understand your note regarding the casual tone of conversation, but I disagree about your point on respect. These conversations are almost always continuations of offline conversations we've had with artists as they setup and soundcheck. They're not complete strangers, and the style is meant to reflect that. I do say "dude" in conversation in my regular life, I think it would be disingenuous to pretend otherwise. I always do my research and make a point to discuss current projects to help artists spread the word about what they're working on. That's where the respect part comes in. If I said "dude, man," then proceeded to talk about unrelated topics with no knowledge of the artist's career, you would have a valid point. But that isn't what happened here. I would be horrified to learn that any artist ever left a session/interview of mine feeling disrespected. To my knowledge it has never happened. We all take the work seriously and hold the artists in the highest regard. In any case I'm glad you saw the video and I hope you enjoyed, we will keep them coming.
