It might feel like you're alone with a daunting task, but if you just look around you'll see that there are many others who are going through the same thing as you, and while they can't do your work for you, they'll provide what help they are able.

This is actually my first aviators music. I’m sorry for ruining, but to keep me bound, is it all DS song references?

This was probably my favourite track from Modern Mythology; It gives off such a distant, happy feeling, that is rarely found in Souls which gives it all the more power.

I love how the lyrics contain the titles of several of your OTHER Dark Souls songs. This is such a wonderful tribute to the entire series.

I love how this song frames those fleeting moments of rest, you stop to level up, equip yourself, plan where to go next or just to breathe. And then around you, you see other players who, like you, are resting from the battles that we all try to overcome, strangers who remind you that you are not alone, fellow travelers with unknown names who through messages or jolly cooperation in combat, will accompany you on the adventure. In the end we will always gather together around the bonfire.🔥 Happy Holidays 🎄

What a great song for a dark world where the need for companionship is often dreadfully high.

This song almost brought me to tears with a smile on my face. It made me remember all my good times playing Dark Souls

Quite the send-off for the series, a song to share the delights we all had at the same bonfires dozens - hundreds - of times. Trials both in a game and in life, finding out respite in the comfort of strangers who'd never know our story and we'd never know theirs as for a brief moment we shared our rest at bonfires between the roughest of times before some of our greatest triumphs. So, fractured and feeble - ordinary people - how about a little more jolly cooperation in the shadows of gods, lands long forgotten, and at the ends of time? Till we meet again at a bonfire!

To all my fellowship souls/borne/ring sisters and brothers. Thank you all for some of the greatest memories and experiences ever. Whether standing against as invaders, helping as friendly phantoms, or leaving silly or helpful messages, we all fought our fights together or at odds, we all deserve a bit of respite from the danger and darkness.

I know this is a Dark Souls song but my mind can't help and think of other works of fiction being thrown in. Like the fallen warriors in Skyrim. Or the force ghosts of StarWars. And all of this fictional dead people finding companionship at the end of their time around a final bonfire before they make their final passing. Great song!

One thing I can always count on with Aviators' songs... is how much he harkens back to his previous songs by adding nods to their titles in the lyrics. Moreover, I can always count on his amazing talent that never ceases to captivate and amaze...!

Seeing all our favourite characters sat around a Bonfire: Artorius and Sif, Ostrava, Sigward and Shanalotte, makes me realise how many amazing people (and animals) that were in the series even if one of them was corrupted by the Abyss and tried to kill us and one was something we had to kill even tho we didn't want to. The music is so beautifully made, thank you Aviators, for bringing us such masterpieces.

Every Dark Souls song you’ve created is genuine perfection. I first heard you through “Fading Light” and absolutely fell in love with your music. Since then you’ve stayed in my top five favorite artists. What a great final song for Dark Souls. ♥️

Every single time I see you upload I know it's gonna be an absolute banger

First heard this song in 2023. It inspired one of my favorite D&D characters. A man who traveled the stars, drawing the constellations and burning the pictures to send to his deceased wife. Fulfilling a promise she made when she was alive and sickly. That he would show her the constellations up close.

The ending made me tear up a little. Maybe bittersweet, but the perfect way to end an era. On another note, I love the little changes added to the video specifically, like the bonfire sound effect at the beginning, and the sleigh bells at the end. And the background evolving throughout the video with skittle's (as always) amazing art...simple, but extremely effective. Definitely one of my favorite music videos you've made!

I don't think I have heard you do any songs in this style before. But to be honest, I think this might be one of my new favorite songs that you've done. It's about - peace and camaraderie. Always something everyone could use more of. And it's especially fitting, considering tomorrow is the winter solstice - the darkest day of the year, and well, this song helps best back the dark.

I've loved this since I heard it in Modern Mythology. It's such a fitting song for Dark Souls' characters, the player's or the non-playable. Most of the characters have some sort of hope and driving force, and want companionship in the harsh world. Most of them don't have lofty self-ambitions. They just want to set the world right. And you can even see the ripple effect of one's companionship. No matter where you are in the Souls universe, you can always count on there being a bright sun for you to praise. Thanks Solaire, for never giving up on us. Also, I love that very sneaky song reference. You know the one.

There is an odd beauty in the song which paired with the image makes up a scene in my head that is so very gentle, sweet and sad

This perfectly encompasses the feel of the Dark Souls world. Normal people risen from the dead by forces beyond control, living in a hopeless and doomed world. There's no possibility of a "good" ending, but a few determined individuals press on all the same. Sometimes, they find company in the meager light of the bonfire, and share a moment of something reminiscent of happiness.

A whole year later and I only now realize how important both this song and the darksouls trilogy are to me

This song restored my humanity, banished the curse and rekindled me.

It's crazy because I remember when this video dropped in December and I remember being so hyped for it as it just fit with the season and the setting and with this song it is the most beautiful and peaceful song I have heard from Avi and every time I hear it brings me back to Christmas and that wonderful feeling I won't lie this song makes you feel the warmth even when it's cold out you have done a amazing job Aviator and I can't wait to see what you do in the future you have made it this far and I can't wait to see you go further until then we sit down at the bonfire and wait with ( A Rest)

This is only an end to the dark souls songs if the description isnt using dark souls as a term to refer to soulsborne in general, so theres still a chance for bloodborne, sekiro and elden ring songs. if that is the case then im looking forward to the ride!

This is a song that brought genuine tears to my eyes. as one who has fought for something, for family, and my boyfriend, And made so, so many friends... the tested few that are still around aren't often so happy.. I think I'll share this with them. To remind them, that what we lost, what we gave up, for each other, was worthwhile. To make sure our families were safe, and smiling at home. Thank you. A wonderful piece. Hearthwarming jet still fitting for the DS franchise with its text. ^^ The picture fits it too with Artorias and Sif, finally getting a chance to rest together, old Sigmeyer, Shanalotte and Sweet Shalquoir as well as who I guess is the player.

Even if I avoided summoning to keep the challenge, the messages written in the stone and brief glimpses of random phantoms still created the sense of community when playing through Dark Souls.

Thank you for everything, Aviators. This song brings out a lot of positive nostalgic emotions. I'm currently 18 years old, and I was in love with both the Dark Souls series and your content since i was around 13 or 14. Recently I've made a decision to quit videogames to pursue my own goals outside the virtual world, and this song symbolizes this decision so much. I'll be forever grateful for the fun I've had playing these games, but it is time to have a final sit at the bonfire and move on. Dark Souls isn't just about death and struggle. It's also about the people you struggle with, the things you're dying for. It's nice when people remember that.

I imagine the various Soulsborne protags all being drawn together by the familiar lights, coalescing in this forest. The Tarnished bringing some raw crab to boil, the Hunter and Sekiro playing music, the Ashen One and the Chosen Undead sharing stories of their exploits, the Cursebearer just glad they aren't the only one caught in a power struggle. All of them, singing this song together around the light, and forgetting about their struggles for a while. Sharing in their little moments of happiness. got damn aviators has come so far and just become more and more powerful with each song they put out. I remember finding them through the old mlp music 10 years ago and they've been a constant inspiration to improve skills with singing and music. This song is such a beautiful piece on it's own and having singing and practicing using most of these older songs that were referenced just makes it so much better, happy holidays and good luck to everyone going into this new year.

This is a beautiful song. I recently had the last session of a D&D campaign that started before the pandemic and I'm still not quite over it. This reignited every strong feeling I had over the years of that game. I'm not ashamed to say, this song and those feelings it brought up made me have a happy cry. Thank you.
