Try folding your tongue back. That’s one way to make it louder.
@KaoXoni
2 жыл бұрын
How He gets this so loud: #1 focus. Once you have the overtone, hear it, keep that sweet spot, just hone in on the fine tuning. Keep the volume of your ostinato steady, but fixate on the overtone, sense the exact location in your mouth where the vibration ist tickling, zoom in there and you can exoect the overtone intensity to rise. #2 Feedback/practice. Play around frequently, just make it a habit to calibrate the overtone whenever you sing any vowel, which is all the time. Just a different sweet spot for each vowel on each note. Practice to hold it on sliding scales. Practice to catch it as you sneak up on a tone. Practice to hit it right from the beginning. Practice to keep an overtone in each note of a phrase. permutate overtones on a steady key. Do it just for fun, because you are in the bathroom or in the subway tube, because you can. Simply get used to it.
@cthulhu24785 жыл бұрын
I think he has an extra organ hidden somewhere. The fact you can hear it over all other note even when 3 other people are singing loud is astonishing. I'm so happy for his solo carrere and wish him the best ❤️
@SomeGuy-pc9fh4 жыл бұрын
You know the overtone singing avi does is actually quite easy to learn. If u search up a tutorial, u can easily produce the overtone in 10mins. I say that but getting to a more advanced level where u can control the overtone like Avi takes much more practice

@erinrobinson8199
5 жыл бұрын
Hope Stallion I think it’s just the air really. Just the way it’s passing through his mouth cause you have to position your tongue in a certain way to do it. So it’s not really in your throat like a whistle.
@autumninterludemusic
5 жыл бұрын
its cuz your tongue changes the shape of your mouth and throat and that changes the way the sounds resonate and how overtones blend

It's so fucking weird because you have to focus to hear everything and it's like you can see the notes in front of your eyes/inside you head when he does his overtone singing.

Try folding your tongue back. That’s one way to make it louder.
@KaoXoni
I think he has an extra organ hidden somewhere. The fact you can hear it over all other note even when 3 other people are singing loud is astonishing. I'm so happy for his solo carrere and wish him the best ❤️
You know the overtone singing avi does is actually quite easy to learn. If u search up a tutorial, u can easily produce the overtone in 10mins. I say that but getting to a more advanced level where u can control the overtone like Avi takes much more practice
It kinda sounds like the music in the background of Poppy videos

@erinrobinson8199
5 жыл бұрын
Hope Stallion I think it’s just the air really. Just the way it’s passing through his mouth cause you have to position your tongue in a certain way to do it. So it’s not really in your throat like a whistle.
@autumninterludemusic

its cuz your tongue changes the shape of your mouth and throat and that changes the way the sounds resonate and how overtones blend

A legend
he is a legend of bass
Fun fact, every time you sing you're singing a bunch of notes above the fundamental one you hear, they're just quieter. What avi's doing is changing the shape of his mouth to amplify certain pitches.
That sounds so good!
The Power of the vocal cords is amazing once focused enough 👍
Look how proud my master with his overtone singing!😄😄
Love this so much 💜💗
Missing Avi 😭😢

Guys there is a traditional Chinese folk technique called Khoomai. I surmise it’s where overtone is from
Meu Deus! Que impressionante!
It's been a while since he's done it though...
Okaaay .... I really think he's not even a human 😅😂❤️
that's so fucking awesome. i wish i could do that

overtones do not take alot of air just controlled air
it's 3 am, you walk to your kitchen to hear a ominous noise radiating from inside your kitchen, you look and see a disgruntled figure walking backward at you, he is 7 feet tall and oddly disproportionate , you try to run but it's too late, he's already reaching mach 4 speeds, the figure grabs you and pins you against the floor, still making the overtone noise, he stops and say "____"

How are overtones possible? I don't understand how they're produced...it's so amazing.
@w0rmg0rl

Oriana Çizmeci Díaz they're produced by shaping your mouth and throat in a certain way while singing! producing them is actually not that hard, the difficult part is getting them loud and controlling the pitch.
