You can't go wrong with any of his songs. He's a great song writer and amazing singer, as you know. I can't remember what you've listened to already. Some of my favorites are Sweet Adeline pt 2, He Don't Love You Right, When I Die, Summit, Quarter Past Four, It Knows Me, The First Place I Go, and pretty much everything else lol

Avi bought 1000 acres of woodland so he can feed his soul with these beautiful woodlands. He is a gifted songwriter who writes about his emotions and mental state. Hopefully he is working out his insomnia issues. I would recommend his All is Well in the 7 layer session. He also did the official music video as a duet.

Agreed

From his days of great depression and anxiety. He desperately needed to be released from these issues and he was looking to nature to help him with that. The otherside was not death but life without those issues controlling him. He has learned to set his own pace, listen to nature, (he especially loves bird song) and walk without the hurry, hurry of PTX. Even his touring is at his pace, not someone else telling his to speed up.

Avi has become my favorite artist. His music is so powerful. You don't listen to his music, you feel it. This song to me is a sort of meditation. I have never been able to meditate -- I never truly got it, but this song puts me there. I just let my mind relax to the other side.

I love how you were just sitting and taking it all in, the music, the video, & the lyrics. Avi created a masterpiece with this one, Beautiful. Thanks for reacting. 😊 Avi has many great song, I suggest you checking out "Chains", "I'm Only Getting Started", "The Summit", "Quarter Past Four" - to name a few.

I could tell that at least twice during this reaction you had the urge to close your eyes and let the sound wash through you. Quite right too! Try 'Born in California' for more Americana, 'When I'm a Fool' live at Sunset Sounds for something uptempo and 'All is Well' (7 Layers session) for sheer vocal beauty. All are fabulous.

I love this song! Avi sings about the need to escape to nature to replenish his soul. Something I can totally relate to. I would love for you to react to something off Avi's latest album. Great reaction! I would love for you to react to some gems from his latest work. I recommend I’m only getting started, When I’m a fool from Sunset Sound, and First Place I Go for some incredibly deep and meaningful lyrics. (Hits right in your soul) Glad you are taking the Avi journey!

I love my alone time, and this is one of my most favorite Avi meditative tracks. All Is Well duo with Joy Williams is beautiful also. He brings me back to Cat Steven's. James Taylor, Dan Fogelsberg - all those great voices from my younger years. Avi's tone is brilliant and soothes my core.

Love this song, your reaction was as good as normal, I have to agree with other comments “Get Down” The Summit, when I’m a fool (sunset sounds version) Chains, he does a lot of reels and a lot of them are in his low voice, they’re brilliant.

I like that Avi’s songs are often very different from each other, it shows his incredible talent. “First place I go” from his full album “Floating on a dream” that was released a year ago, and “When I’m a fool” from his EP “Live at Sunset Sound” will show you just that. Avi is the most talented artist I've ever heard. He writes, composes, sings and harmonizes with himself. Change on the Rise was one of his first singles on his own and is mind blowing. It's primal and I believe it's been used for tv and movie soundtracks. Parts of it. Like Peter Hollens, Avi layers so many tracks of his voice into the production with his distinctive guitar playing that each song is ethereal.

Not sure if you have seen it yet but Black is the Color of my True Loves Hair with Peter Hollens really showcases Avi's beautiful lower register. And Song for the Seeker is one few reactors listen to.

To me, this os calm and peace, but woth a touch of brooding mystery. Uou become caught up on the spell. Every time I hear this, i just have to stop and be silent for a moment.

Try his song, Full Moon. I love the stripped down version but I really love the album version with all the layers. It's has almost Spanish vibe sort of and hippy vibe. Be careful, it might relax you to sleep!

That twang is definitely more present in some of his most recent stuff. I think you would like "First Place I Go" for that reason. I also second (or third or fourth) requests for "When I'm a Fool: Live at Sunset Sound" and "All is Well: 7 Layers Session". I adore your reactions. You are especially good to watch because expressive eyebrows make me happy. Yeah, I know I'm odd.
