Whoa. I just heard All is Well for the first time, with Avi only. I thought to myself how it would be beautiful in a duet with the Civil Wars vibes… then this played next 😭😭 absolute perfection.

He has a voice that could command flame and thunder

I'm not religious, but I feel an inner calmness with Avi's music. It's settling. It has an earthly- yet spiritual vibe to it. I appreciate that.

He was so underutilised in PTX... He's such a marvel and proven he's more than capable of making magic on his own.

My son passed away 4/15/22. He was in his 33rd year. What a gift Sir, to touch so many with such beauty! Always enjoyed your energy and peaceful, calming vibrations! When i heard the lyrics to this one, my heart melted. Like my son, speaking to my soul. Thank you! Continued blessings to you beautiful spirit!

How does anyone not know Joy Williams? One half of Civil Wars. One of the best duos ever. I love Avi’s music but let’s give equal time here.

Your music transcends all. I listen to your music often. In June a 3 lb fawn was born in our yard. She was to tiny to survive so was left by her mother and twin. I rescued her to give her warmth, love and safety while I could. When she heard your voice she was enthralled. She would put her nose on the speaker and close her eyes. She loved this song more than any other. She succumbed to her challenges a week ago. The last hours of her life were spent in my arms with her head on the speaker listening to this song over and over. If it stopped she would cry. Thank you for pouring out your gift to offer joy, love and comfort..

The musicianship is strong with this one ;) His tone is a gut punch to the soul, so pure, the clarity of each note. Karen Carpenter's voice has this purity. Not many others sing a note so true. WHat a blessing..

In the year 2020 I lost my mother to cancer. I took care of her 24 hours a day, because we couldn't take her to the hospital. This song portrays exactly how I feel. She rests in peace today, and my soul is at peace. Thank you Avi, for setting my soul free!

"Otherside" was the deep inhale. "Song for the Thankful" was the long exhale. And this song is the much needed healing afterwards. Thank you, Avi. I cried the biggest happy alligator tears in a LOOONG time. This is the trifecta. These three songs are what I needed to heal. Now I wish I could just put these three on like a ten hour loop!

What a beautiful mesh!! I was sad when Avi broke away from Pentatonix cause I loved his voice, but now that's he's branched off into his own niche and has expanded into such a beautiful voical role, I'm so happy for him (and my ears 😂)! @Avi Kaplan private channel from kildare in Ireland lol in the swampy boglands, so I know about soggy land, rain that never stops, but wouldn't change it for the world as have lived in city's and towns, but at least in countryside I have plenty of space for my 8 to 12 cats ( depending on day of week) a dog, 2 foxes and three hedgehogs when they come out from hibernating, so the music video to Aberdeen was brilliant all that space reminded me of the freedom! Been walking through a years-long dark night of the soul as I heal extreme trauma from abuse in my past. I'm doing the work, but sometimes it gets so heavy and exhausting...especially recently. Randomly stumbled across this video and I can't fully explain it, but somehow it helped. Hard to see the light when you're swimming in the dark, but it is always there. Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks for this song. 💜

I'm having a tough day medically and have listened to different versions of the song. Each time there are less tears. Glad I came across the demo version on fb. I'm going to let my two year old listen to it some time. See if he likes it too. When he was a little baby Avi's low voice always calmed him down. It got us through the sleep regression he went through as a baby and I still sing a bit of "I'll get by" every night before he goes to sleep. @Avikaplan_ I knew you as the bass in Pentatonix, but only began to really appreciate your mastery on hearing Home Free's "Ring of Fire" studio version, now several years ago. Admittedly a long-time HF fan, but have been following your solo career (or at least lurking in the KZread videos) ever since. Many of my favorite reactors include your works on their channels, and I always tune in for those. So, yes, I am a fan.

The day this dropped is the day my life fell apart. I discovered this on Tik Tok, this couldn’t have came at a better time in my life…

God I love where Avi went from Pentatonix I loved him there and everything but this type of soulful folk music strum my little heart strings

Yes... his voice has the same soothing effect on me as an up and coming young artist that has been unknown to many for the past 10 years. Check out 16 year old Angelina Jordan and her original song "Million Miles" @ 14 years old (studio version is my favorite) or her original "7th Heaven" @ 15 years old. I also love her covers of "My Funny Valentine" and Adele's "Easy On Me" or "All I Ask" she brings tears to these old eyes when I hear her sing.

Yeah...like some other's have also said here; just wanted to say that I love (what I believe is) his own, 'unique style and sount'...and that manages to wave both life, with all it's difficulties - and spirituality. I feel the pain when he's singing....But maybe I'm biased - since I've been depressed now for 15 years, and especially since the last few years have felt nothing but pain. And now - hardly even that...NOTHING! Except whenever hearing my favorite songs by Avi....I'm sold - let's just put it that way. (So...maybe, just maybe - I am ready to die happy now...I hope so.) Thanks for the music Avi!

@Avi Kaplan kansascity, mo. Iwas a ptx fan from the start as well, as a choir nerd i was way into the sing off. Had a very young daughter who is now in highschool and she is a die hard too. We saw you at the sprint center a few years back. Gotta say it isnt the same since you struck out on your own but good on ya and this song was beatiful.
