Avi Avital's arrangement and performance, with orchestra, of Bela Bartók's Romanian Folk Dances is incredibly energizing!

It’s folk music and you are right , it’s little bit Carpathian’s guzul ( mountain Ukrainians) moody music.

One of the few instruments I respect and appreciate playing Violin repertoire, it's similarities (in tuning, range etc), yet striking differences in character and sound is something quite attractive.
