AVGN ADVENTURES Took Me 9 YEARS To Beat! (Review)

The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures Review - AVGN Adventures Review [ S3 Ep.3 ]
Hey everyone - welcome to my new video.
In my in-depth review of AVGN Adventures I first talk about how my love for the AVGN series started. Then we take a details look at all levels and explore why it took my NINE years to beat this game.
This is the start of a three-part-miniseries. I'll also review AVGN II: ASSimilation and AVGN I + II Deluxe in the next videos.
The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures was developed by Freakzone Games and published by ScrewAttack Games for the Steam in 2013. Later it got released on Wii U and 3DS as well.
I hope you enjoy! Feel free to rate, comment and subscribe if you like the content.

I miss old KZread as well. Miss that frontier spirit and the idea that anyone had a chance to make a name for themselves. I even considered it for a while. But then KZread became . . . well, what it is today, which is mostly anger. And not the funny Angry that made the Nerd so fun. Just straight up anger and hatred. Glad there's still channels like this that remind me what I loved about this platform. Oh Christ, this game IS ten years old. WTF???

Yeah I try to avoid "angry" content on the internet as much as possible. I'm glad this channel gives you a reason to enjoy KZread.

Such an underrated channel. I think you need to do more aggressive marketing because you definitely deserve more views. Try posting your vids on reddit or something.

I just did :) But I don't really know how to promote my stuff other than with Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok...I don't have many followers on those channels. I've tried Fiverr in the past and that was a waste of money and time.

@@GFrom Reddit is the best place for promotion. Not saying it's a good website, but it has subreddits with specific interests, which helps you identify your target audience. You just gotta be a little shameless and spam the video in every subreddit that is in any way related.

Man, this reminds me so much of myself during that time back then with ScrewAttack and the old AVGN episodes. I picked up the AVGN game back then, right when it came out and LOVED it! Great channel, man. Really enjoying your videos and reviews. Just curious by the way, because you are playing a lot of Tomb Raiders in German: You also speak/understand German? EDIT: Ah god damn, you even did a "Fred Fuchs" lecture so that should explain it haha

Finland here again, never thanked you for your reply. So thank you :) Its really interesting to see how maching our tastes are. I love TR, I have always watched AVGN and played the games. Never Finnish(ed) the cameos, shit pickles etc. Maybe because of you I'll have to do that. And on normal this time ;) What year are you born btw? Just because of our semi matching tastes :D

Loved 2, wanted to love 3 but never finished it legit because of the save game crystals.... Got Chronicles only a few years ago and never finished the original :(

From the time I ordered a physical copy to the time it came in, I beat the game. It took almost a year. And it's one of my favorite games ever.

It's funny how I correlate a KZreadrs voice with their niche games. I hear GFROM and I immediately think of the Opera House level from TR 2 lol.

Did you not catch the memo or something? I would feel foolish doing a review channel like this in 2023 ... this is 2009 tier. You even verbatim say things other reviewers said 10 years ago like "the internet was like the wild west". Though I have to admit it was a good idea to use the pandemic times to make content, where literally everyone is at home and doesn't know what to watch.

Well, it's what I want to do. Either people watch it or they don't. For me it's just a hobby and I enjoy it. This is the first time I hear someone say something like that to me. But thanks for your honest opinion, I really mean it.

@@GFrom Sorry, I didn't want to sound like a jackass. The world today sucks. To me the picture of a guy in his 30s sitting in his room with a lavalamp, Sonic from 1992, PS3 games and talking about the past just made me realize again how quick time has passed us by quicker than we ever imagined it would. It's truly better to keep the nostalgia goggles on at all times honestly, than being depressed about how the present can never match the awe and excitement about life/tech/games we had during our youth.

@@stickstupid No problem at all, Leo. I honestly don't even know why I still have that Lava Lamp :D I see what you're saying about this show being more like an old school show from the late 2000s, but that's exactly the kind of content I miss and would like to see more of. I don't really care that much for the current KZread Landscape...or Internet Landscape for that matter. So this is a way for me to relive my past in a fun way while producing something I'd wanna watch. At least some people seem to like it, so I'll continue and maybe evolve the show in the future. For now, I feel good doing what I do and it's okay if it comes across as dated.
