If anybody had common sense, you'd know that having an automatic roof adds weight, and can decrease potential performance. Took him less than 3 minutes anyway, how hard was that? "400k car this that". Stfu. Don't like it? Don't fockin buy it

if its well designed not that much 40kgs - and its practically just as fast as the hard top would notice the difference unless your a A grade race car driver on the track. the little bit extra weight is well worth the practicality and simplicity of an auto roof. not to mention all the boot space is taken up by the roof.

I am not saying we have a diff weather in each street....but for sure u can be driving on the I95 and past from a sunny day to a heavy rain in 5 minuts. Last time for me was this Saturday. Sunny in Aventura and a small tornado in Boca (20 minuts away, where i had a wedding).

I've said this many times but I will say it again, I DID put my seatbelt on before I went onto the main road. I'm a big advocate of wearing your seatbelt heck I'm the guy who annoys people for not wearing theirs, thanks for your concern I appreciate it but don't worry I always drive with it on! 😉 If you look at my other video that is a continuation of this one you can see that I'm wearing it the whole time. The part where I'm driving through the palm trees is still the parking lot.

All I read in the comments is "OMG 450k (or what ever) for a car that can't put its own roof on.. what are you going to do when it rains?" Well just saying, if i owned one of those, i wouldnt even think of driving it if there is a possibility that its going to rain. Hell, if u can spend 450k on a car, you prob have more than one, and then you will prob take your bently, audi, merc or what ever when its raining..... I mean, you dont buy a "roof less" car to drive around in the rain..

Actually no, there are holes in the roof just so rain and snow can get in so you still have that topless boobs r free feel.

Idiots complaining about the manual removal of the roof, it's a ROADSTER not a CONVERTIBLE. There's a difference, plus there's no room for it to be a convertible, the engines too big! So stop crying about the manual roof, it's not like your gonna ever afford one anyways.

99% of people driving these cars don't give a shit about the added weight of an automatic roof cause they arent limited in ANY way cause of the added weight. You all act like everyone is a profesional race driver. ROFL!!!!!! Literaly everyone commenting here doesn't even know how to handle a car 1/3th of the power this one has cause for that morons, you actually gotta get teached by someone who is a race driver. That is if you don't wanne crash it the first month you get it. When buying such cars there should come a monthly race driver guide of daily drivings on a race track with an instructor of how to actually drive these. That way you maybe spot a lambo with a driver that doesn't just drive it to look good but actually also knows how to drive it. It looks stupid having to to all that to open or close your roof, that's for sure. lol

You don't have to floor it as soon as you get the vehicle but I'm certain one can learn by themselves how to drive such a vehicle without having a professional race car driver or someone like that teaching you how to properly handle the car in "corsa" mode.

Great to see this videos out now.... Love the Roadster a lot... I can see you're pretty tall. I ended up doing my POVs with a Sony ActionCAM which now sits at eye level instead of on my forehead. Not sure that would work entirely for you @NueVue but it might help. I was in touch with Brett when I saw he got the first one... Loved the Aventador Roadster at the unveiling and knew they were going to be a hit--and they are.Thanks for sharing! *2 THUMBS UP**

Quincy Jones the 458 & McLaren are V8's and have enough room to store a roof the V12 takes up a lot of room. this was the best method of having a removable roof system.

that's fair to point out, however I still feel that a company such as Lamborghini would still be able to improvise and spend a little bit more money and time making it more efficient. The objective in the car is speed, but there should be a way to make this process efficient.

You say that as if they are all the same size car & they are trying to cram the V8 & V12's into the same chassis. Like we have medium shirts & we are trying to fit it on a 6 year olds & a fat adults. My point is they are different size cars with the aventador being significantly larger & the idea they can't do it is silly. We have space stations, surely man can engineer an auto top for the aventador. It's not a matter of ingenuity yet a matter of lazy, fuck it attitude & profit. I love the aventador & would still die to have the roadster even if I gotta tell my hot date to get out of the car so that I can pull the seat up to pull a latch & take my top off to place it in the boot. I will do it & do it happily but it's still stupid especially on car this expensive.

Love the Car. I got to drive a 5000S Countach. It was tripple white. White interior, white car with white wheels.. my favorite... I felt like I was in a Miami Vice episode. Great looking car, white is such a clean color.
