Some people say this spider-man is the one from spectacular spider-man series. I wanna believe that. In fact, I can imagine alot of characters from spider-man's rogues gallery in emh since the design of this and spectacular spider-man do look similar since the animation style on both series are square-ish.

The only sad part is knowing that Josh Keaton did lines for this Spider-Man, and only found out he was replaced when he sat down, excited to watch the episode premiere like the rest of us.

This variant of Spider-Man May be one of my favorites, based on his character, his costume, and his overall animation style. I just wish that The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes would expand and we could get Fantastic Four, X-Men, and Spider-Man animated series.

@TKHulk Well, yeah, I know that “The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” and “Wolverine and the X-Men” exist on the same world, but the animation for both shows are VERY different, and I knew I was wrong, but I forgot to say anything. Some Avengers want Spider-Man on the Avengers since they see potential in him to become both a great hero and brilliant scientist and he can achieve that faster with their mentoring while others think that he’s a good hero, he’s still 17 and too young to be dealing with world ending threats. How would you feel that two-parter happened ?

@@juanrisa945 on top of a shoddy Foundation of tone and Voice Direction because even in that series when he gets serious sounds pretty good, but serious wasn't what they were always going for in that show

Somehow an avengers show with him in like 3 episodes completely nails his character. I genuinely love this incarnation of Spider-man. My favorite is still Spectacular Spider-man and Tobey Mcguire will always be the one true live action Spider-man in my eyes, but this one does excellent. I genuinely wish he was in more of the show. The conversation between him and Cap in the tunnels was one of my favorite moments in the whole show.

Ppl who like Tobey only like him because he was the first. There is absolutely nothing about how Tobey portrayed Spider-Man or Peter Parker that is even close to comic accurate. You could watch every Spider-Man cartoon and read every comic. Not one gives the vibes of Tobeys Spider-Man when it comes to the actual portrayal and personality. It's the stories from Tobeys movies that are so good except #3. His portrayal is nothing how Spider-Man actually is. So many Spider-Man writers including Stan Lee has even stated this. Tobey was way more mopey, overly dramatic, glum, gloomy, clearly not in HS and was way too brooding. That is not traditional or true Spider-Man. That is Sony's Spider-Man. As a someone who went to see Tobeys first movie in theaters when I was a kid, I literally remember feeling like "This does not feel like.the same Spider-Man I've been reading and watching in cartoons...".....and that feeling still holds up to this day. In No Way Home he did better. But performance wise, Andrew is THEE best Spider-Man portrayal. Tom is the best YOUNG Peter Parker as well as Spider-Man. Tobey is just....the OG.

Honestly, I enjoy Drake Bell’s performance as Spider-Man a lot in EMH. Goes to show what better writing and voice direction can do. Wish Drake was given another chance as Spider-Man in another series

It was always something new which happened in every episode, it didn’t carry on with the previous episode!! Just Like how there was multiple episodes for the Skull’s taking over earth in ‘Earths Mightiest Heroes’ it lead on for like 5 episodes and so did the Kang episodes and Thor being trapped in Asgard alone with Enchantress and her gang.

@@THEdudeproductions well technically it was supposed to be spectacular spiderman until disney changed it for ultimate spiderman for "same universe" back. It's a whole mess really since then they tried to make Avengers Assemble a sequel series to EMH but then ended up messing with their own canon so many times that it is it's own thing.

I think Drake Bell is an underrated actor in my opinion, he’s my favorite Spider-Man voice actor behind Josh Keaton, his voice is also what I would hear an Animated Spider-Man sound like, I think his performance in EMH, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Avengers Assemble is pretty good

Given how he sounds better here than in his own show, goes to show how Ultimate Spider-Man's Spider-Man could've sounded better. Never on par with the greats but decently enough to fit in the show. Ultimate Spider-Man's voice direction was a disaster, even for the professional voice actors working on the show in the little crossover episodes and such.

I hope if this show ever gets revived, it'll be in the form of a comic book adaptation of Season 3, 4, and so on. That way there's less hoops to jump through, and Chris Yost can have more creative control over what they do.

I do wish this show could’ve continued because I would’ve love to see an episode where the avengers had to rescue Spider-Man from the sinister six.

I would love to see the sinister six and other characters from spidey's rogues gallery in here. Such as eddie brock, obviously venom, rhino, sandman, hydroman, shocker etc. Eddie brock's design would look like a mix of thor and cap, plus, they are blonde characters, so the could work perfectly. Venom would be like hulk just slightly less buff, maybe absorbing man's body proportion but bigger. Rhino would look almost like abomination but shorter, and sandman and hydroman would reuse absorbing man's body as well

I find it funny Drake Bell sounds better as Spider-Man here than in Ultimate Spider-Man.

This cameo was originally meant for Josh Keaton. All the dialog was even recorded. Jeph Loeb wanted Drake Bell instead and Keaton was replaced on the spot.

Despite the controversy surrounding the recasting AND how loved Josh Keaton is, complaining about it to this day is really just beating a dead horse at this point. Especially as the general consensus here is that while not the preferred Spider-Man va, Drake Bell still put out a great and likable performance as this performance of the character (hell its even better than the one he did in his own show).

@@BigK13372 it doesn't matter how long it's been. it could have been half a century ago for all I care, he's allowed to not like it! Another example is with the cartoon "The Real Ghostbusters". One of the characters, Peter Venkman, had his voice actor chaneged in the show's third season. It's been 35 YEARS and to this day, people are still voicing their dislike for this change and justifiably so. We're allowed to dislike something no matter how old it is. We don't have to watch it, but we sure as hell don't have to like it either.

They should make a spin off of this Spider-Man.

I really would’ve want to see this Spider-Man interact with more heroes in this universe, like Thor,Hulk,Black Panther, Wasp, etc.

Seems like something he might've done in season 3, but I highly doubt a possibility like that

I’m here after hearing Josh Keaton was suppose to voice him but Disney dubbed Drake Bell’s voice over him. Biggest downgrade.

Seeing Spiderman in the show was just great

I like how drake bell sounds more mellowed out, voicing this spiderman than the Ultimate one

This show was the perfect template for the MCU, especially for how they should've handled Spidey. THIS IS SPIDERMAN, between Ultimate Spider-Man and Holland's Spider-Man, this version blows both out of the water.

The only time Drake Bell’s spidey sounded good

Tbh this or the spectacular spiderman are the best animated versions ever created.

This show might have better character interactions and dynamics than pretty much every other Spider-Man or Marvel show.

Best onscreen Avengers and best onscreen Spider-Man.

honestly hes better here then in his own show for sure less annoying at least

They brought back alot of the old Voice actors from this show over when they made the avengers assemble/ultimate spiderman/agents of smash universe

I need more context to Galactis calmly walking up and cordially saying ‘Hello, Spider-Man.’

Originally, they wanted Josh Keaton but Disney wanted others instead. We could have gotten Spectacular instead of Ultimate.

I wish Thanos was on this show

The one Episode where he teams up with Captain America is better than either of the two newest Spider-Man shows, I don't think I need to explain why it's worth the watch.

I wish we got a spin off show of this Spider-Man and I wish he was voiced by Will Freddie since Drake Bell is ... well.. in prison.

The fact that he looks EXACTLY like the Spider-Man from the Ultimate Spider-Man show is INSANE

Peter Parker looks similar to Ben from "Ben 10 Alien Force". (Because of his green black, and blue outfit.)
