This song was the last song that was played at the end of their summer tour. Band walked off the stage while this was playing through the sound system. At the very end Adieu flashed up on the screen. Perfect end to a perfect night.

Synyster Gates played the piano. He wrote the song for M. Shadows son when he was born. I believe they recorded this song in his living room.

Even more impressive is that he was never particularly good at piano. He worked his ass off for years to be able to play this himself!

As a huge A7X and metal fan, I absolutely love this album. I love how (D)eath transitions into Life is But a Dream. Hey you died and now here's some Chopin inspired whimsy.

this band has so many great songs, this album is just tip of the icebarg, try their older stuff like: critical acclaim (live in LBC) a little piece of heaven (official music video is important to see because it gives context to lyrics)
