Hi Johnny, I was there in 1994 with my TGF at the "Sea Horse Hotel" I see it has changed a lot, streets and cars. It looks good Avatara Hotel. Keep safe and Take care, best regards from Catalonia-Spain.
I enjoyed this tour of the beach and your hotel room. The room certainly looked like it came from another planet. Must be why they named it the Mars room! 😅
lol Johnny I have almost stayed at this resort many times but never booked the samet grand view is the best hotel on samet imo right on the beach & not a bad brekkie also samet villa resort is good I had dinner before where you stayed and was nice food 💯

Yeah we looked at the Grand View but at the time this was the better deal. I'll have to try it next time!

Okay this island looks like a place I would enjoy - and the hike up to the rooms from the beach area would help with alleviating the temptation to become a slug for the vacation, LOL.

We were just there for three nights. We were open ended and could have stayed another night or two but my friend was too burnt to endure another day in the sun so we packed up lol

Всем привет! Спасибо, Джонни! Прекрасная съемка, шикарный пляж, просто обалденное место, комната гостиницы тоже отличная, главное есть где переночевать, душ, туалет, холодильник, чайник, я утром пью только кофе, но молотый, у них вроде растворимый, главное есть кондиционер. Всё круто! 👍🏻

I’m staying at Avatara now, breakfast amazing, water pressure is great, beach is brilliant and staff are ok. But, walk to rooms is long and steep so not recommended for the elderly, aircon is old and noisy and beds are too firm for me.

The rooms don’t really match exterior vibe, like two different architects worked on the building
This hotel has a unique design. I like it, but wouldn't like a non functional TV.
