Seeing the faces of the actors within the characters is one thing while watching the movie, but it doesn't really connect until you see them actually acting in the studio volume, just how hard they had to work to imagine all this in their heads and play pretend like kids. 💙

My problem with Jake in this film is he is so stoic and bland but I understand as he is meant to be under a lot of stress so he is not himself in this film. They gave his playfulness and goofiness in the first film to Lo'ak which I like, it's a good way to balance the characters without making them inconsistent

@@Nicholas_Chen_ well he just wanted to protect his family. With a son that gets everyone in dangen always i would be like him as well haha (Lo'ak). @@Nicholas_Chen_ I agree that Jake felt a bit too stoic at times but I was watching an interview with Sam and Zoe yesterday and Zoe said something that made me rethink my opinion on Jake’s behavior. Zoe compared Jake and Neytiri’s experiences as parents with how ducks swim. Ducks appear calm and “together” but they’re actually struggling and working hard under the surface. So maybe that’s where Jake’s at in this movie. Just trying to keep it together for his kids’ sake. Neytiri is supposed to be the most emotional of the couple so Jake needs to balance that with his stoicism. My two cents :)

That's exactly where my mind went during that scene. Too bad I lost focus and began to scrutinize how much he'd upgraded his skills since Titanic. In all fairness, this is one long film that allows for a lot of zoning out opportunities to be able to look around, appreciate and contemplate what's on the screen without needing to follow storyline all the time. Like the first film, it's not only a movie but a complete journey where you in fact disconnect from reality for 3 hours because of the intricate attention paid to the type of 3D technology used. Most 3D films give me claustrophobia but both Avatar films get it right because the technology is used to further the audience's immersion and enhance the storytelling rather than just for "here's something jumping out at you" gimmicks. Anyway, I went on a tangent but there's so much to say about this evolution in filmmaking and Cameron's brilliantly obsessive attention to detail!! Thanx for reading :))

I recently watched the new one and I have completely fallen in love with this franchise. Seeing the actors outside of the fantasy world that is pandora is so amazing.
I didn't go see Avatar when the first one came out in theaters. I actually watched it for the first time this past weekend. What they were able to do in 2009 held up to some of the best CGI films that come out today. But when I went and saw this I was speechless. One of the most beautiful films I have ever seen in my life. It was a work of art. I remember thinking "How did Avatar make so much money?" But I totally understand it now. I can't wait for the rest of the films to come out. I loved every second of it
During this whole video I had goosebumps ON TOP of my goosebumps
I loved the movie. I had NO IDEA that was Kate Winslet playing the queen character. Mind blown
I love seeing more less known actors in big budget films like this and now getting the recognition they deserve for their amazing acting. Especially the younger actors. Just goes to show that films don't always need big budget names to cast in the film to make it good
James Cameron is a genius. Rather than create the CGI and then place voice actors in to cover for the CGI characters voices, he uses the actors moves and voices to create the final CGI. It's no wonder why the films he creates are so fantastic to watch and makes so much money.
I honestly loved going back to Pandora. This movie was beautiful

This was wonderful to watch, I am so happy to have watched it in my home country, Zambia. James Cameron and team did a great job. It was worth the wait. Simple story, yet delivered so well. The graphics are untouched, only unique to AVATAR. I hope others may enjoy this in depth and appreciate the work that went in this project. With love from Zambia.
After watching this I am definitely seeing the movie. This has made me super emotional and I'm crying right now.. ugh.. what a story...
One of the greatest achievements in the evolution of film making.
It was an amazing film! It didn't feel like a 3 hr movie. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time...Run to see it folks
Neytiri's avatar is just best🔥 Great work by the team and Zoe has been killing it with her performance once again 🚀
