They made benders weaker than regular people in the live action, it took 6 people dancing for 20 seconds to bend one small rock slowly 1 person could’ve thrown that with far more power and it would only take 1 second Aang used an earthbending style to make a tornado Firebenders can’t even make fire

Most animated media doesn’t need live action I don’t get why everyone want live action versions of thing even though there gonna be 100% worst. There’s a reason things are done in animation because there thing you can do in it that you just can’t do in live action. I think the Moana director said it best when he was describing Maui that he’s the perfect for animation because of all the things he can do like his tattoos moving and shapeshifting but now there making it into live action and it’s just gonna be a huge cgi mess.

Adding on to the other dude's comment, she was supposed to be a distraction. If she actually tried to fight them, Toph and Aang would be beating her black and blue. Sokka's an iffy case, because Azula's REALLY good at riling people up, and Sokka's really easy to rile up.

For starters, the writers of TLoK didn't just decide to make Toph a "failed parent" out of the blue (and for the record, I wouldn't say she failed completely). It makes perfect sense. They even explain why she parented the way she did in the show. Second, none of them are complete losers either. It's pretty obvious why Toph isn't, but the others aren't either. They're old, so Zuko isn't fighting in his prime and Katara doesn't fight at all, rightfully so, but they're still wise and helpful. Katara is still the best healer in the world and Zuko can hold his own in a fight. Not to mention he has a dragon!
