I'm beginning to think Gordon was the perfect pick for the role just from the interviews. The kid sounds like he's got life experience, but not in a moody brooding way. He sounds mature, but not exactly old. Like his parents have been treating him really well and never patronized him. Love to see it.

I love this cast. They actually care about the role they’re taking on and more importantly they’re having fun with it.

How cool would it be if Paul actually secretly got swol over the course of the next few years until Book 3 and then he breaks out like a gigachad and we get that magnificent unc bod.

Wow, I've watched it already, and it's amazing! Fantastic live-action adaptation! I can't wait for the next season! It's action, drama, fantasy, and comedy-all in one! Amazing cinematography, amazing special effects, those animals, spirit animals just amazing, and their powers, the visuals look great and the backgrounds look fantastic! They're all amazing! Gordon is a brilliant actor for his young age, and he is so cute; he has a million-dollar smile too. Dallas is a versatile actor, he's amazing actor. Kiawentiio and Ian are amazing too. Paul, and Daniel are very good too. All the cast members are really doing a great job.

I’m really curious what their plan is for Paul when we get buff Iroh. It seems unrealistic to expect Paul to get in that kind of shape but you can’t just cgi muscles on someone who isn’t at least close to that shape. I’m guessing they just never reveal buff Iroh but they elude to him being in better physical shape.

I mean, he's a pretty similar shape to Iroh, more or less. Iroh didn't change his overall shape that much when he was in prison, he ended up with a strong-man physique, sort of like Thor in God of War Ragnarok. I don't think that would be ridiculously hard to achieve. Actors have access to resources that make it much easier to achieve such transformations that us layfolk do anyway 😅. He doesn't have to be *exactly* the same, anyway. He's close enough now, that he'd only have to go through a similar transformation, anyway.

Why is everyone on here so stressed out over this? Yes, the cartoon spanned for just about a year but we as viewers could definitely tell the growth with Aang from Book 1 compared to Book 3. Even the VA's voice got deeper closer to the end of the series

These kids are making lots of promises that most live action adapted content have failed so many times. More emotion for LA Aang because he's a real person? I highly doubt that. Watching this video did not relieve my fears of another live action show adapting a great animated show especially from Netflix. But I guess nothing is certain until tomorrow.

@gaius5901 But it already did that with the animated version. It doesn't need to be real people to deal the most impact. Most LA fail to make that promise.

Love the cast, hate the show. I'm so disappointed. I can tell that the creators of the netflix live action doesn't hold the same love for the source material that the fans have.

They didn’t change the sexism to be woke they changed it to be more realistic. It doesn’t make sense to remove a woke element to be woke! The original show was already woke. Anti wokers are so annoying.
