When Aang was fused with the Ocean Spirit he only pushed the water. The Moon is the pull while the Ocean is the push. Without the Moon, all he could do was push in anger.

I think that was one way Iroh was able to tell she had the moon spirit's life in her, perhaps in addition to her white hair. I made a video about the subject on my channel, if anyone is interested.

To think that Ying and Yang gave up their immortality to live among humanity is such a beautiful concept. It's hard to imagine the sorrow and rage Yin would have felt in that moment. Having had your literal other half cut down like cattle, after you both having selflessly devoted yourselves to humanity for many thousands of years. So fucked up.

I actually had not thought of how Yin would be feeling, still being a fully sentient spirit within the koi fish. That’s actually so heartbreaking, and it makes the frantic little circles Yin swims around Yang’s body after Zhao kills it so much more tragic.

Also interesting how Koh says 8-900 years, implying that time works differently in the Spirit world, because Aang lived 112 years as of this episode, Roku lived like 90 years or something, Kyoshi lived 220+ years. So in the mortal world, it would only have been 400 or so years back.

Actually, each book is extremely similar to each movie in the original Star Wars trilogy, but much better. And then Legend of Korra has quite a bunch of similarities with the prequels as well, even down to being controversial

My opinion, this is the most emotionally draining episode of the series. "No. It's not over." and "Maybe I can give it back." never fail to make me tear up. And I don't even cry in movies where the dog dies.

I am super interested in what they will think about Zuko's sister when she is officially introduced. I actually like her as a character, I don't like her actions but as an antagonist... when she speaks, even coughs, I'm on edge.

Funny how they say the ocean spirit probably took Zhao to a hell when that's exactly what it did, you can see it in legend of korra.

This may not be a kids show but even when I was watching this as I was 8, I still felt all these emotions and understood exactly how amazing this story was! Credit to the creators for producing something so well written!

I prefer it with just you four because seeing your discovery without someone hinting about what's gonna happen is the best. And it's more fun!

It feels so satisfying watching you guys freak out, and get emotional throughout the series, and especially in the last two episodes. I feel so happy seeing you guys enjoy this show, this was yet another awesome reaction. :')

Little french Trivia In France, we knew from the start that uncle IROH was a good guy, because the very old actor that did (a shit load of things and) his voice will always be known as the french voice of Dumbeldore AND Ian Holm's Bilbo (as well as most of Paul Newman's role since the 50's). That man, Marc Cassot, passed away last year at 92 years old, and was the oldest french voice-over actor. RIP.

I recognized his voice every time 😂 One thing Iroh and Dumbledore have in common is that even though they're nice and calm you know they're extremely skilled and powerful so you wouldn't like to bother them...
